Anyway fictious or not, I like my pod idea or any other form of autonomous transport, of which there are probably many examples around the world, which Ern failed to engage with, because he lacks the social skills...

LOL, so your great 'idea' is basically a train. We've had those for a couple of hundred years.
What are you going to come up with next? Steam power?

Elon musk was talking about a vacuum pod based transport system a while ago. Basically like a monorail type elevated system but a vacuum tube, so no friction and speeds of hundreds of miles an hour

I didn't say it was a great idea, it was an imaginery scenario, but you lack any personality to understand that.

Tbph, I suspect this is why you don't normally engage in these threads other than to tell other people how stupid they are, because you don't want people judging you for your ideas.

There are many automonous examples, but you didn't want to look, because the fat kid in you wanted to win an internet fight - go scrape your bike down the neighbours car bro, sad ****er. <laugh>

Hate that thing. Just an excuse for EasyJet to pump their same **** advert into your ears three times on a three minute journey.

Hyperloop I think it was called.
yep, he also though he had a great idea by reinventing the tube, but with the added benefit of everyone dying within a minute of being exposed to the vacuum should anything go wrong. You still have the same amount of people making the same amount of journeys and the same amount of jams (or more because you need airlocks at either end) at the same places. I don't think keeping millions of miles of tunnels in vacuum is going to be cheap.
One of the companies he owns being called Tesla is ironic as he's Edison, a grandstander who didn't invent anything, he took the credit for other people's work and stole the rest.

<laugh>This isn’t even that far fetched tbh

Perhaps we already are in a matrix and this is the level of criminal sprites taking chunks off your healthbar, never ending hordes of freeloading alien NPCs taking all they can and the final boss is the prime minister sending foreign aid and war funds from your pocket all over the world while our old people freeze to death and our young have little prospect of ever buying a house and everything becomes difficult af and you just wanna smash the fuking controller off the wall <whistle>

The reason everything is difficult and your kids can't buy a house, is because the super rich, who control everything and own everything, have been allowed to impoverish the working class.

Yeah, absolute insult to Nicola Tesla that Musk owns the company which bears his name.

Yep, he bought Tesla once the brains behind the business had established it as a viable operation

Bit of a Cuckoo is Elon.

Now he's going to pump n dump SpaceX with it's IPO valuation of $1.7trillion so he and the original investors can get their money out and pension funds will end up paying for it when the companies that control them buy the shares.

Massively overvalued. No **** is going to Mars, it's toxic atmosphere, freezing temperatures, and lack of an elecro magnetic field ensure simply can't sustain human life.

His latest bit of snake oil for the valuation is the orbital AI data centres that don't exist. **** knows why anyone who knows a little bit of physics would think that's a good idea, yeah, it's cold in space (according to Khan, anyway) and you need them to be cold, but it's also a vacuum, which means there's no conductivity, so the heat ain't going anywhere.
As to Mars, to be fair, he never said the humans that go there were going to be alive at the time.
