How are Labour doing after their first 12 months

  • Total voters

The fact Kemi Badenoch came out today genuinely celebrating these results as a major victory is just ****ing incredible considering they've done just as, if not worse than the ****ing Labour Party.
Trouble is the media are just focusing on the red corner at the mo, but as you allude she's got **** all to smirk about, she's the equivalent of Leicester City trying to stay in the Championship and failing.

Half my Twitter timeline is people posting winning Reform candidates’ old Facebook posts and the other is winning Green candidates shooting machine guns into the air in celebration. Serious country.

Mathematically, there's no way Plaid can form a government without Labour support.

The problem Reform are going to realise very quickly is that most councils are in debt, some on the verge of running out of money if they haven't already, financial blackholes all over the shop, so they will not be able to fix anything or keep any promises they've made, but they will certainly take all the **** for it, and that will carry into the next General Election - excuses of well it was the last party's fault will not wash with the electorate, they will just want to know why you haven't emptied their bins this week or why the refugees are still wandering the street. Reform winning in local elections has favoured no one apart from Labour in the longer term.

Nationalist parties aren't held to the same standards as everyone else.

All Reform & SNP types need to do is blame some outside, intangible threat that is clearly to blame for all the ills of the world and ride that wave. With Starmer being completely ****ing useless at any type of PR or public speaking and the Tories essentially not existing anymore, theres no stopping them.

Look at Holyrood. The SNP have been basically **** in government for 19 ****ing years now, but every single Holyrood election they make some vague impossible promise that if they magic up some majority they will deliver the biggest modern constitutional change in modern European history. The same party that have failed to build a ferry service, have an average NHS Scotland waiting list (over 2 years) of 5000 (Englands is 300), have had 1 first minister be kicked out for being a sex pest, another for corruption, a third for incompetence.

But still they manage to avoid any scrutiny and win a vote.

Need I list the amount of scandals that Farage is involved in pretty much every single week these days? No one seems to bat an eye.

This is my problem with her. Once you get through the shouty bit, she does not seem to comprehend that her party is as unpopular as Labour. She really does have delusions of grandeur.

Another great result for the SNP 20 years as the leading party in Scotland and elected for another 5.

Think I just want to see Labour get back to it's grass roots of supporting the less well off in society, rather than appeasing the Tory ground of middle class workers and up. I don't want them too far left, but I don't want them in the Tory ground either, which is happening because of their own personal wealth. I think it can be fixed and the first task to fixing that is getting rid of Reeves, not Starmer at this stage for me. I don't have an opinion on who should replace Keir, so I don't tend to enter that arena.
