How are Labour doing after their first 12 months

I think the Greens are the only one I've seen that seem to take a full on approach to the NHS, not that I know what all this equates to in real terms, and I don't even like them...

https://greenparty.org.uk/2024/06/0...g-investment-to-nurse-the-nhs-back-to-health/

Taken together they are part of a cast-iron Green guarantee to a fully funded fully public National Health Service. Green MPs will continue to fight the privatisation of the NHS at every stage – a commitment no other party is making.
I’ve read a bit about them from the economists and apparently their figures just aren’t adding up and are for the birds.

Yeah I guessed they probably were.
Have you seen one of the polls today? Reform polled at 24% and the Tories at 15%.

We are on the march with Farage bro :emoticon-0103-cool:

I think I saw something yesterday where Reform were just going from strength to strength.

The media has a lot to do with this I believe, the last two or three days SKY News have been focusing on migrants...

They yesterday reported record crossings, and were also covering the world migrant crisis, they had at least half a dozen correspondents covering it, ridiculous. They had two correspondents just on Sangette beach in France, one of them being Yalda Hakim, now call me cynical here but...

Anyway, I think we need to go out and arrange a few more milkshakes to be chucked, it could start rocking the Labour boat. :bandit:

Tbph my only expectation of Labour is seeing improvements no matter how small.

My concern with your comment is you believing they will not get the time required ie a second term....

So what's the point of me even voting Labour if they are not going to achieve anything in the first term and are unlikely to get a majority in the second to keep a clear path of what they want to achieve. We're just going round in circles.

There's only one asnwer to this...

I would say discounting a ****ing disaster of epic proportions, Labour will maintain their majority, but likely not a super majority.

No idea. Just seen it posted elsewhere. I don’t care about context or sources if it’s the agenda I’m pushing <badger>

That's pretty much how the media works so why cant you do it lol

What are Labour ahead in the polls? 21-22 points? I’ve got a feeling that’ll come down to 16-17 on election day. Still a very big majority but maybe not as big as it looks to people now.

Starmer said today he’s going to hit the ground running and on day one he’ll stabilise the economy. That’s been done, the tit. He doesn’t need to stabilise it, he needs to maintain its upward trajectory. The guy really doesn’t help himself.

The British media have two weeks to cook up a political scandal, probably Starmer getting it on with Angela Rayner...although that might make their ratings soar.

only if they post it online
If a video emerged online and it was Starmer bending Rayner over giving her one while mumbling ‘duh duh, duh duh, **** the Tories’

Do you think approval ratings would go up or down?

I'm not really sure why you are posting that on here, where is the original report?

Someone has lifted something from SKY, it gives no reference to when, and then he's been accused of harming a seven year old, again where is the evidence to this, just at least a link or something?

There's a picture further down claiming to be him from 2015, but I'm not convinced it's him. So how about you fook off and take this shhite to GC. I don't mind a bit of banter, but you along with Sucky (clip regarding the guy that got beaten up) I don't what to drag this thread through the gutter, for all we know he could be a Labour supporter.

I expect there are ****s, rapists and murderers in prison, that have all voted at some point in their life, before their crime, for either Labour, Tory or another.

my apologies.

I put the wrong link in. Don’t want to discuss what he may have done, but he appears to blame people coming in for him not getting a job due to his criminal record.

Edit.

I can see what he's doing, not taking responsibility for his crime and blaming migrants, but in the context it's been put up on here, it's not really banter Peej, but you've apologised and said it's the wrong link, accepted. Let's not drag this thread into the gutter please. And IF he really has harmed a child, I don't want his ugly fooking mug on this forum tbph, well not on this thread anyway - we have a crime thread.
