They really haven't thought this through, so what about women who might NOT get a full pension for one reason another, can they do the same and claim zero now and get a full pension lol....I know some can pay up the contributions, but it's not the point. If we are going zero rating, then are we going to move everyone on to full pension when or should I say IF they retire. Bunch of fooking clowns, I get it all goes into one pot anyway, but I didn't like it when they started to doing this, just stop fooking about with taxes and stamp, and then just claiming it via othe rmeans, bunch of arseholes. Get rid of vat on food if you want to get rid of something, except for luxury items.

State pension you had to pay in for a minimum of 35 years I think it was, might have even use to be more. All I know is mine is a paid up, so any further tax I paid couldn't increase my final pension.

Yeh it's not about where the pension comes from but how you qualify for it. It was very well picked out by C4 news tbf. I hadn't thought of it that way. Clearly neither did the Tory party!

It's all bollocks mate, Tories have got an £18B hole in their plans and Starmer needs to be all over this, exactly the same way Channel 4 has, great clip that Trebs. That self employed bit will leave them with a £2.5 Billion hole alone and that's not counting still having to pay out their pensions if they live long enough.

I increased the personal allowance for basic rate tax payers by £1000.
Increased higher rate tax to 45% and the additional rate above £125k from 45% to 47% and made almost £10bn in tax revenue.
Stick in a windfall tax for all energy companies totalling £30bn on top.
