How are Labour doing after their first 12 months

You’re trying to pick a fight with the wrong person mate. I also want to see both the boats stopped and those who shouldn’t be here removed.
I guess the difference is that I’m happy to give this a go because nothing else has worked up till now. Until we stop using this as political football, we are really pissing in the wind.
What <laugh>

Having a different viewpoint doesn’t mean I’m trying to pick a fight. Where did that come from?

It got me thinking, what's my old mate Tusk up to these days, not heard none of this on the news...

Calling Trump out tit for tat over his loyalty to NATO regarding Russia.

He cited a September incident in which approximately 20 Russian drones violated Polish airspace—an episode he described as a "well-planned provocation" that some NATO allies were reluctant to treat seriously.

"For some of our colleagues, it was much easier to pretend that nothing happened. This is why I want to be certain that if something happened, Russia knows the reaction will be tough and unequivocal," he said.

Hear hushed whispers that Labour may run on an EU referendum next election.

Pure rumour absolutely zero evidence.

I think it would be a good way of countering Reform, naturally I wouldn't vote for them if they did that, but could be a good way of winning them an election - also Ed Davey wants that, so who knows maybe future coalition if it comes to it. Although they are thinking of beating Lib Dems to it and make a better job of it. Makes sense to me, regardless of my own preferences.

Would make the Libs even more pointless than they already are under that centrist dad gimp. The country would be absolute chaos if it happened though.

Genuine question for you - bias aside, dya reckon rejoining the EU would pass or fail in a second referendum?

I’ve been following the case of that woman from the midlands who has been travelling to Switzerland for assisted dying. It went ahead and she died yesterday. She was mid 50’s.

She had no terminal illness. Her son died four years ago and she could never come to terms with it. She went through testing for a year but was still adamant it is what she wanted. Her reason was that she didn’t want to resort to public methods which would traumatise innocent people.

It’s a hard case to judge with there being no physical illness but herself and the clinic, were sure she was going to do it to herself regardless.

Brave woman.

I honestly think it would pass. Immigration is arguably worse, public services haven’t improved and I read articles every day around the new EES system and entry into European countries. You also have to take the demographics into consideration as it was claimed that people over a certain age were generally in favour of leaving, whereas the younger generation were in favour of staying. 10+ years down the road some of those in the leave camp will no longer be with us.

And apparently he's the healthiest person on earth but collapsed to his knees when he had to stand up quickly.

Kind of explains why he remains seated at the end of his press conferences, he might be getting prone to toppling over.
