I think it was only his eventual guilty plea that stopped him getting a lot longer inside, oh and he gave the cops the pin to his mobi, otherwise he could have been 14+ years. I'd imagine people like Farage & Co are a little bit squeaky seeing this sentence handed down.

No idea how old that MP is but **** to spending that sort of time inside at his age (just looked 52), although I think he will be out after serving 40%, so it's not as bad as it sounds, but still, **** that.... <laugh>
Gillty plea

Abdul’s gang may take an interest if he isn’t moved onto the nonce wing to keep him out of harm.

My thoughts were along them lines lol, yeah never thought they may well have to put him on the nonce wing for his own protection.

Tough **** though aint it, shouldn't be selling our country out to the Russians for financial gain.

i have no love for Farage, but this needs further investigation into all the possible links for MP’s and MEP’s

root out anyone guilty no matter which party they represent

I wouldn't be surprised if the cops are doing more undercover stuff, delving a bit deeper on all this ****, so maybe more court appearances in time once people panic having seen todays sentencing, they will try and cover their tracks which will leave traces that give them away.

I am waiting for Starmer ,Human Rights Lawyer who pushed all the limits during and immediately after the Election campaign

Him and Farage sharing a cell Porridge style wondering where it all went wrong

The MP for Khan Yunis has left the Your Party Party to return to independent frothing about Jews. Going as well as expected following one of the others a week or two ago.

Had a brief read up on this new Chinese so called super embassy.

I'm not really sure why it has to be built where they intend to build it, no objection to the size but why particularly there from China's perspective?

Although MI5 seem ok with it - so is it a lot of media fuss over nothing?

I blame the Russians. :bandit:

course it's a load of media fuss. Anything thats anti china really gets a lovely heading.

no idea what area it needs to be built but i'm assuming anywhere in central london is standard and this embassy is going to be massive?

If MI3.75 have done their job properly, the most important factor will be how we are able to observe it once established ... same for the Russian and Klingon embassies... :)

I really don't know what to trust with our media, first you get all the media fuss, then I hear Keir's ok with it, as well as MI5, it must make the governments job seriously difficult when you get this nonsense.

I've never liked the anti China rhetoric, much like I've never liked the anti Russian rhetoric, although the latter is of concern with Putin and I get that, I'm a simple person with this sort of stuff, what's the problem IF there is one, what's the solution?

Saying you can't build something because of XYZ, well I'm not really interested in that bollocks, tell me what we can do to resolve it....'not build it', well that's clearly not the correct answer if you want to keep diplomatic relations smooth, and considering China rule the world now it's not exactly the best move either.

Anyway Starmer is planning a trip to China in future, so it can't be all that bad. If he takes @BobbyD with him on an all expenses paid trip, he'll show KS the sights. Although Bobby needs to check his calendar so he can pencil it in.

I’m seeing terrible people delighted the two child benefit cap is being scrapped and terrible people incensed over it. On balance while it won’t benefit me at all it doesn’t seem the worst thing and if you elect a Labour government it’s the sort of move you expect to see but also the arguments for the cap make a lot of sense.

Plus everything has to be brought back to immigration now and this will disproportionately benefit demographics pumping out large families so it becomes another culture war thingy. The Hamas independents both support it and take credit for it. Great work all round.
