The counter argument to this is that the left wings constant woke agenda and literally putting fear into normal decent people that it is racist or even fascist to voice their concerns regarding the squeeze immigration has put on our services and infrastructure as well as our soaring serious crime rates, has lead us to this point where people (me) are now starting to feel angry with these insinuations and accusations, to the point that we are willing to look at right wing parties who seem to be standing up for what we think and are happy to face this head on.

People’s right across Europe, not just the UK, have clearly had enough which is evidenced by the shift in politics that we are now witnessing. The left wing need to take responsibility for backing people into a corner and allowing this to flourish.

Yeah I agree; politicians in the centre ground need to do much more to engage people’s concerns, instead of brushing them off as right wing nutters. Because if they don’t people get sucked in by the actual racists out there who are happy to fan the flames of people’s genuine concerns.

Here's a new one.
My eldest sister is 76, been working at the same place for over 40 years, she's a manager there.
Before Christmas 3 of her staff retired, they replaced them with 2 young girls, one started, as soon as they got back in the new year, the other one a week later. After my sister showed her around the floor and introduced her to her new co workers, she said 'most of the other workers have been here a long time and all get along, there is some good banter but no one takes it too far'
My sister was called in by upper management on Friday and was told the new girl was upset at the prospect of being ridiculed by the banter she may encounter and was told to tell her staff all banter is to stop with immediate effect. She laughed, walked out the office after telling them to tell them themselves. Tomorrow morning could be interesting.

Yeah, that’s definitely an issue, too. I agree with that.

My personal concern is that my eldest daughter is in her 20’s now. In another 5 years or so she could be starting her own family. Maybe that’s prodding me because I don’t want my future grandkids growing up in where society is now heading so I’m speaking out more and less concerned about what people think of me.

Trump came in and whether or not he follows through with his rhetoric or not about deportations and strengthening his countries borders to allow no one else in while he secures the mess his country is in (see the popping up tent cities) regarding some of their states, appeals to me. I believe that’s what we need here. So if a politician from any party over here stands up and says the same for the UK, they’ve now got my vote. Immigration is now my main concern.

To clarify, I don’t want ‘no more immigrants’ but I do want the population reduced starting with the millions who are here illegally and unvetted, then after that go back to numbers of approximately 30k net migration which has always served us well. Current estimations is that it’s now over 500k per year. Our small island can’t cope with these numbers and we need it reversed.

Weak and entitled. To easily butthurt. She’ll still be in probation. **** her off.

This is just another example of how we now pander to the minority at the expense of the majority. Our culture and way of life is being eroded with this ****.

That was the general consensus last night mate.

I have my own opinions but I'm happy enough to listen to views of others, problem is there is so much misinformation from both sides, it's difficult to know what to believe. So I just keep stum

Same. I really don't know what the truth is but i have my own opinion on it. I also cannot be bothered to argue, happy to discuss and debate but at the end of the day i can't be bothered to "sway" people. You can't beat someone around the head with this stuff and also i don't think it will also make a difference either although i do find this stuff sometimes interesting.

What will be will be

I was going to type it, it's easier you just watch it and you read the subtitles, especially when he gets to the empire bit...

Fooking hell. <laugh>

Funny we were just talking last night about people always looking to be offended <laugh>

Why the hell should the German people of today carry the burden of what people done in the 1930’s and 1940’s? Why would you hold them to account like that, Pisk? It’s not right and they deserve better.

This is what he said…

"It's good to be proud of German culture, German values, and not to lose that in some sort of multiculturalism that dilutes everything."

Change the word German to Britain and I agree with every word. I understand that.

"children should not be guilty of the sins of their parents, let alone their great grandparents".

He added: "There is too much focus on past guilt, and we need to move beyond that."

That’s pretty much what I’ve just said, stop holding today’s generation back and lumping guilt on them that they don’t deserve. It’s a sinister way to still try and control people and way of life. It doesn’t look good on you and your ilk to be behaving in this way.

"I'm very excited for the AfD, I think you're really the best hope for Germany. Fight for a great future for Germany."

Nothing racist there, he’s just showing support for a political party.

The Germans have every right to be rising up against the amount of immigration that the country (Merkel) has allowed to happen and the amount of crime it has brought as well as the loss of German values. There’s nothing racist about that, it’s exactly how I feel about the UK, now.

To summarise. You’ve gone all woke in a ****ty attempt to slander someone being racist when there’s nothing there to see. Must try harder.

I think the point you’re missing is that Musk is pretty obviously a Hitler loving fascist.

And I’ve got your number btw.

Lukashenko has said many times his country is all but controlled by Russia and he is a governor. Zelensky said that he received phone calls from Lukashenko after the invasion apologising but he can't do a thing.

He only gets annoyed about this stuff when a Western country which confiscated his bank accounts talks about it.

This is classic Lukashenko, he is asked a question about HIS countries democracy and uses it to reply "ye well **** u" but in some nonsense wannabe Putin malarkey.

Polls are nuts rn lol.

So inconsistent for one, but also vote splitting is intense.

Labour are bleeding numbers to Liberals and Greens (who haven't seen a polling drop off post election). Both those parties are polling around 14% - 10%.

Then you have Tories who are obviously battling Reform everywhere.

The issue that Green and Reform have is they don't have a base ground. Reform especially has support across almost every single seat and collected in some specific coastal towns.

Lab, Con, Lib have specific places they know for a fact they can win seats.

Yeah Lukashenko is Putin's bitch

Germany should stop feeling guilty about it apparently <laugh>

He is a fascist, I don't doubt it at all.

He said that they should 'get over' it.

As I said to @Saf can you imagine the furore if somebody had told the Jews to 'get over' the Holocaust.
