He's supporting a party that does.

Not sure how you've arrived at the conclusion that 'there's nothing racist here'

Even the German security services categorise them as 'right wing extremists'

I’ve dissected his speech in my original post and couldn’t find anything racist in what you posted. Neither could you so you’ve gone searching for something else trying to move the goalposts.

You got it wrong in your original post. It is that simple.

Do you not think that by supporting a party that wants to challenge the legitimacy of the Holocaust, has been called out for Anti-semitism and is categorised as 'far right extremists' by German security services is a problem ?

Right we can get into that next when I’ve looked them up because I know **** all about them if I’m being honest.

I was just talking about your original post and the claims you made which was wrong. Instead of admitting that you’re now moving the goalposts and pushing all this new stuff on me lol

I said Musk was a Fascist and I stand by that. So no I won't admit that I'm wrong. A bloke who openly supports a fascist party, offers legal funding to racist criminals makes questionable fascist gestures and makes a speech at a rally of a known extremist party looks every bit like a Fascist to me.

You need to take a look at AFD and what they stand for mate.

They are a group of Anti-Semites:

Josef Schuster, President of the Central Council of Jews in Germany, stated in 2024 that he is "concerned that the AfD would deliberately act against Jewish life, if it fits into their concept", and that the party offers antisemites a home.[209][210] A study commissioned by the American Jewish Committee in 2021 came to the conclusion that antisemitism belongs to the "programmatic core" of the AfD. According to the study, the party conducts "targeted campaigns" against Jewish celebrities. The study's author, Professor Lars Renmann, stated that "despite some lip service to the contrary, hostility towards Israel, Holocaust relativization, antisemitic conspiracy thinking and anti-Jewish images occupy a prominent place" in the AfD

    Islamophobes

The AfD began to employ anti-Muslim rhetoric during the leadership of Frauke Petry, who responded positively to comparisons between the party and Pegida.[214] In 2016 the party adopted several anti-Muslim positions and stated in its manifesto that "Islam does not belong to Germany. Its expansion and the ever-increasing number of Muslims in the country are viewed by the AfD as a danger to our state, our society, and our values."[214] The party has run a billboard campaign that explicitly referenced the far-right Eurabia conspiracy theory,

    And Holocaust deniers :

Wilhelm von Gottberg expressed his views on the remembrance of the Holocaust by quoting Italian neofascist Mario Consoli in saying "Any pretext, no matter how flimsy [...], is good enough to remind people of the Holocaust. The propaganda steamroller is getting stronger rather than weaker over the years, and in more and more countries the Jewish 'truth' about the Holocaust is being given legal protection. The Holocaust must remain a myth, a dogma that is beyond the reach of any free historical research

Somebody who thinks these people are the best way forward for Germany means they are a Fascist in my book.

Anyway, just before I go. I will say that I think there’s a genuine and legitimate conversation to be had about immigration, multiculturalism, crime, national values etc.

What I think is tragic though is that it’s being hijacked by extremists and right wing political parties who use it as a veil to spread their racism, anti semitism, Islamophobia and intolerance.

Too many people being hoodwinked into their ****e and I think people like Musk openly promoting them sets a really dangerous landscape.

In the UK Labour need to get a grip of this, engage with the debate and come down tough on knife crime and illegal immigration etc as otherwise it’s going to leave the door open to Reform and parties even more extreme

Also people having legitimate concerns about some of the issues you state, shouldn't be lazily labelled as right wing nutters.

It's like there are no left wing nutters in the world, raise an argument you get far right thrown at you, it's as if there's not a single left wing voter racist in this country, how would we even spot one...

Especially when some people leave living in London because it's a ****hole, but apparently the mayor is doing a fantastic job, oh to be Cornwallian and miles away from the real troubles of the world, and so diverse...

I have my own opinions but I'm happy enough to listen to views of others, problem is there is so much misinformation from both sides, it's difficult to know what to believe. So I just keep stum

I'm not particularly a fan of Musk but he does open up debate, even if it is in the most crass way. I just often refuse to be browe beaten by constant far right tags. Trump is another one, but if he stops any wars it's got to be better than we've had for the last few years. I ask, how many deaths on Biden's watch, even if people claim he wasn't responsible...he's a world leader that makes him as accountable as anyone else in my book...I'm happy to slate Netty as well if that's what people want...Putin or Zelenskky...I just see more deaths. In the meantime, the left will not have an opinion, they will just bombard you with tags and memes. Frightened of actually having a written and balanced opinion, or criticising their own. None of this aimed at you btw mate. Anyway, I'm off to my far right wonderland of watching football on the telly soon....like everyone else. <laugh>

The counter argument to this is that the left wings constant woke agenda and literally putting fear into normal decent people that it is racist or even fascist to voice their concerns regarding the squeeze immigration has put on our services and infrastructure as well as our soaring serious crime rates, has lead us to this point where people (me) are now starting to feel angry with these insinuations and accusations, to the point that we are willing to look at right wing parties who seem to be standing up for what we think and are happy to face this head on.

People’s right across Europe, not just the UK, have clearly had enough which is evidenced by the shift in politics that we are now witnessing. The left wing need to take responsibility for backing people into a corner and allowing this to flourish.
