Golders Green has precisely one pub in the whole area. Wtaf is going on with that?

You can’t really expect people married to their second cousin and looking after eight kids under 12 in a house that hasn’t been touched since 1972 supporting a family on one income from a failing family jewellery business their nine siblings also work at to have that sort of disposable income.

I love it when someone, from any walk of life, claims superior knowledge of reality; as if any of us is in a position to say what reality is. All we can say with any certainty, is that reality is seldom what it appears to us to be.

This should probably be in the Science thread tbh. Anyway, from the father of Quantum Physics;

I've not claimed any such thing.

I wasn't talking about science or some eternal philosophical question about what is real ffs.

I was talking about politicians having a better perspective of people from different walks of life through shared experiences.

I've worked in both private and public sector. I'm speaking from my experience. Each has its own advantages/disadvantages. My criticism of many areas of public sector where workers who have gone straight into it from education having never worked in the private is this sense of entitlement. And when I talk private I'm talking working class or blue collar workers in private employment.

So it's no surprise to me when we see it in career politicians the level of entitlement is even more obscene, and the more out of touch many are.

I read it as agreeing with you rather than the way you've taken it mate. I think it's just a science take on things, because I've seen that saying before, keep meaning to look up on it but not got around to it yet.

I've seen it on the forum before. Sounds familiar. Probably posted on the science thread.

Probably by Archers!

Reality is an illusion as everything is subjective. We all see it differently.

(Expect someone to do the Monty Python thing now and post "I don't")

I wonder whether that could be extended to religion. God didn't need to create anything other than something as simple as a brain and everything else is fed to it. There is no world, no animals, no life really.

In fact wouldn't even need the brain, but for the sake of a "living" entity God wants, then let's say that's the only thing God creates. It would also make life after death far easier.

Interesting concept. Sort of a thinking process that intrigues me. Much like fate along with a moment in time aroses my curiosity.

God needed to create pancakes ...the world would be a lesser place without ...

I've looked into all of that WHO, WEF, Gates stuff.

I'm not sure it's a deliberate attempt to kill us all off, but I think they are shady ****ers who want to control people, the means of food production, where and when you can go, what you spend, on what, etc etc and they will dress it all up as being part of a Green agenda or a health agenda.

Don't trust them one bit

I won't be having any more of their jabs either.

^^^ Following school of aber.

@brb you need to let him back on now that he's actually spoken the truth.

Lastly weren't you all for the jabs at the beginning ponks

They don't need jabs to control us, we are doing perfectly fine by accepting the digital world for people control. However, in the future, long after I'm gone, at what point do you control the population, we can't keep breeding at current rates and life expectancy surely?

i been saying this for donkeys. Especially when it comes to climate change. No one wants to hear the hard truth though. Worldwide Chinese 1 child policy please

Reform overtaken Tories in the Yougov poll 19% v 18%

That YouGov poll shows for me how ****ed the Tories truly are.

It's not just Reform either, it's the second poll in a row that's shown the Liberals in touching distance.

Few months back both Reform and the Liberals were on 8/9%

Yeah, but there’s Irish people in Golders Green too. The ones who don’t spend all their evenings and weekends in the pub, I suppose. It’s a very strange place altogether.
