Or it could be 2 points.

This is a crazy season.

Spurs have been better than us this season, no question. But...they were in a 'title race' for 2 games and picked up one point...at home to Wolves. I think it would be fair to say, Chelsea have a lot more experience at the business end. Spurs may falter during squeeky bum time.

How many times have Arsenal been in the title race at this stage of the season to then drop silly points in the last 10 games??

5 points is nothing at this stage especially as you still have to come to the bridge.

Spurs' fans have no experience of such things, so you can't excuse them for getting carried away

Chelsea are 5 points behind after 22 games, what makes you think that you will not be further behind after the next 16 games, we are playing better than you are and have been all season.

I think that the top 4 will remain as they are in the current order, and looking at Chelsea's match against Norwich you are hardly in sparkling form now are you?

Next Tuesday, we have Wigan at home(even you would have to favour us in that one) and you have Swansea away (tough tough game, just ask the goons), so the gap could well be back up to 7/8 points with only 15 games left. Tick Tock indeed.

Equally who's to say you are nailed on to beat Wigan, you lost to them last season. If we beat Swansea and you draw to Wigan the gap is 3 points

Why would experience help?? It doesnt help Arsenal, they seem to fade away each season towards the end.

To suggest it is a given that we will capitulate and you will overtake us given your recent form is somewhat laughable.

I am not suggesting we will definately finish above Chelsea, but comparing the two sides form and current points totals, you'd have to agree we are favourites.

You cant even win away at Norwich on a weekend that could have seen you really catching up, doesnt sound like a team that is experienced in the business end of the season to me.

We should be beating Norwich but they are a solid side in some good form. Given their scoring record and our alleged defensive frailties, it could be said we done really well to keep the clean sheet.

There is a long way to go but I think Spurs will be more concerned with our results than those of the Manchester clubs now.

I agree, we are fairly sensible (most of us) and third would be a good finish for us and a decent place to kick on from next season, while I think both City and Utd will drop points as will all the top 6, 8 points to make up to city is in my opinion too much with 16 games, so as long as we stay where we are most of us will be happy.

You did say that we should favour you in the Wigan game, but yet you didn't beat Wolves at home last week?

I am not pointing out anything other than the fact that there are some odd results around the corner, and the "weaker" teams in the league still have the ability to surprise.

Just like Villa<grr>

Spurs are fading; they could not beat Chelsea or City reserves during their purple patch.

Harry's court case and injuries may disrupt them too

Apparently he won't be in training while the case is going on.... looks like Wigan won't be a walk in the park <whistle>

How can we be fading and be in a purple patch at the same time?

Also - City reserves? Kompany in for Savic, Yaya Toure in for probably Nasri (or Milner) - the rest are all regular starters for City.

There's something about teams from North London bottling the big games: 1-5, 2-3 v City, 0-4 v United.

Certain North London sides can't beat a Chelsea side in the middle of their Dec slump ... at home too.

Now, about that power shift...

i just loe londonsfineat ,trying to wum Spurs fan's one his own board.because he's banned off the Spurs board.he would do better banging his head against a brick wall.might knock some sense into him
