Can anyone tell me how Boro and Derby can splash the cash in this era of financial fair play as they don't have any parachute payments?

I think Attendances also come into play! Derby get well over 30,000
Hopefully things will improve if/when we get new owners! Even pass holders must think cheaper tickets & full stands are better then empty?29,598 to be precise.
Though they use dynamic ticket pricing, as we should, which means many of the tickets aren't sold at full price.

They're aren't though. Ehab says we've done really well to hang on to our best players, Bruce says no one made any offers for any of our players.Good interview from Ehab. It appears he and Bruce on the same page, which is crucial.

So why not make an effort to engage with the fans so that there is a united front to achieve what everyone connected to City wants?
Where have you been mate? Allam wanted to change our clubs name and we wouldn't let him, so he's not talking to us anymore. Sorry for the very brief reply, but I think I've more or less covered everything.Hardly an interview, really. More like a few thoughts that most on here could have written- nowt startling.
Shame it came in a Leeds paper rather than a local one where all the interest is.
We're almost two thirds of the way through the season and (crosses fingers) looking good for at least a playoff place. Yet Bradford City a midtable League One side get as many if not more than we do, as do Sheffield United.
Derby get twice the gates we do, Leeds and Sheff Wed both get more.
We all know the arguments about the effect high admission prices have on our gates, and things won't change at this stage of the season, but with the outstandingly promising position we find ourselves in, you would hope the club (ok, Ehab and his dad) would make some kind of rallying call as we go into the the final third of the season.
Why are we all getting the silent treatment? Is theirpersonal
For whatever reasons, the atmosphere is flat (*). So why not make an effort to engage with the fans so that there is a united front to achieve what everyone connected to City wants?
Steve Bruce has been doing all the media work, even when he has needed someone else to take the heat off. he should be free to focus on 100% managing of the team, not acting as full time media spokesman.
Why the angry silence?
(*Sorry. Trained flag wavers and light shows do not constitute support.)

The last thing we need is the owners engaging with the fans, it's a disaster every time, far better that they carry on as they are and they're off soon anyway.
As long as Hernandez gets in the box we'll be just fineIt is ironic that the Allams have taken their ball home just as their most critical opponents have.
A lose-lose situation with thousands missing and empty directors box.
Could it be we clinch promotion at home in front of only 19,000 fans and no one in the box?

So do you think it's time he moved on and started talking up the club?Where have you been mate? Allam wanted to change our clubs name and we wouldn't let him, so he's not talking to us anymore. Sorry for the very brief reply, but I think I've more or less covered everything.
I still can't get my head around the ticket office situationThe last thing we need is the owners engaging with the fans, it's a disaster every time, far better that they carry on as they are and they're off soon anyway.
Certainly a possibilityIt is ironic that the Allams have taken their ball home just as their most critical opponents have.

He has moved on. He'll be gone as soon as he gets his money back.So do you think it's time he moved on and started talking up the club?
