Gosh BB didn't know you were 30, what an ancient relic you are! At your age I wouldn't get too worked up about this, not good for the old ticker.

You cheeky buggar.

With the old L'oreal men expert, i don't look a day over 29 mind.

Sadly the Magners, Tancuray, late nights and Lamberts mean that although i may appear youthful, i feel about 87.

Such is life

I don't show my age as I'm worried nobody will take me seriously... Then again, I prefer not to be taken seriously, off to change my settings now!

Maybe we'll get an Amsterdam Tounament invite again, you may have a house full!

I mention Teasers cos last time we were there, we were in there a few of us, this lass who i can only describe as sensational was busting moves on our table, and this big doorman who looked like a giant Frank Rijkaard told us to put the old Blackberries away, 'no photo's, no video's'.

Obviously we ignored his friendly advice and after a while he disappeared, only to re-emerge with 3 of his chums, who wouldn't have looked out of place on the door of the roughest bar in Bratislava!

Cue a hasty exit, and a footchase, several deep in Amstels, into the red light district, where we were rounded on by a rather terrifying man on a push bike, frothing from the mouth, demanding 20euro!

One of the lads dealt with him, and the night settled down a wee bit, was like being teenagers again for a couple of days!

Seems they never stop building in the dam, i'm sure if i wait 10 years to go back, the city will be 4 times the size!

THE best disco is near the Arena stadium, Grand Cafe it has an upstairs and downstairs mostly soul r and b Lady's are the best looking girls you have seen in your life, mixed marriage young ladies and Afro Caribbean, drop dead gorgeous its 5 to 10 euro in depends if they have a live group on, has a separate smoking room for those that like a tab, biggest dance floor is upstairs and closes at 6 on a weekend unless you get lucky, then the taxis right outside the door or the tram and it runs all night hope this helps.

I'll give you a shout if/when we come over.

Gets harder ti fit things in as you get older, we got to Ibiza every year for 5 days, used to be 14 or so of us, it gradually drops.

8 made it last year, down to 6 this year, a weekend in the dam is a hard one to get a pass from the mrs for!

I changed energy suppliers some years back and three years after that my original suppplier got on to me and said I owed them £350! When I queried it they had based their bill on estimated final readings. Fortunately I still had a record of the changeover readings and was able to give them chapter and verse. I contacted the energy ombudsman when I was threatened with Court action and the bailiffs and on their advice asked the energy advisor for proof of their claim and they immediately folded. It seems they had no detailed records having dumped them from their computer system and were basing their claim on spurious information. I still insisted on getting in writing from them that I owed them nothing and keep that near my frontdoor in case the bailiffs ever turn up. The moral is always keep your own records and don't accept what they say.
