I get your logic, all the good transfers had nothing to do with HJ and all the **** ones did, get ****ing real.
Not sure how you came to that lefty , up to and including Laudrup Jenkin's let managers do their jobs ... After that Jenkin's took over .... Simple really .
I will ask you again, were you at the meeting where that was agreed or were you at the negotiations, you are only guessing.
So when did Jenkins take over? Face it Roof, 80% of his decisions/involvements have been spot on. Only the signings this season didn't work out.
Common sense , it's what you need around the club because nobody wants anybody to know anything . Since Laudrup was canned and Huw decided on a totally rookie manager ... 5 million pay out for Laudrup , 3 million pay out for Monk ...Vorm sell on , who knows how that turned out and how much that cost us ..Eder and Tabanou . ....waited to long on canning Monk and if not for Curtis's , incredible, picking up the team and passing it prepared to Guidolin we might be checking our fixture list to see when we play Cardiff . Huw Jenkin's did a superb job for Swansea up till canning Laudrup's agent ..... But he lost the plot there .
To be honest Valley Jinx has made quite a few Blunders since he has been chairman. As for choosing managers then he always goes for the cheapest and its only good fortune they have been good. One of his biggest blunders was letting our best players at the time run their contracts down that we got nothing for when they had offers of more money from other clubs. He made a huge mistake not backing Sousa when we were so close to reaching the premiership and that ended any relationship between the pair which in turn Sousa was not a part of Jack to a king and i found that disgusting as Sousa played a big part of our rise to the premiership. Jenkins is till making mistakes today by too much interference on the playing side and i wish he would just leave alone and do his job he is well paid to do and be the figurehead and spokesman and attend premiership meetings representing the club. He don't need to do nothing at the club as there are many unsung hero's who look after the finances behind the scenes, Jenkins don't do it. Sometimes Jenkins can be too involved and that's when mistakes are made.....
1. Given the way our managers have performed, especially in their first seasons in charge, Huw is nothing short of a genius in appointing the right man for the job. 2. Regarding Sousa, history tells us that he was right to not back him (regardless of our opinions on the matter) because we then appointed Rodgers and are still in the league. We could have backed Sousa and been relegated. Of course it's all ifs and buts, but the fact is, we are where we are because of Huws managerial appointments. Very difficult to build an arguement against his track record in that department.
Is this the same agent that was trying to sell Ash on the sly? I'm glad Huw told the slimy sod to get stuffed.
Yes , it's the same agent that stood up to Ash and his agent after having to endure them testing the waters every window for seasons . Was actually glad at the time because I was getting sick of Williams threatening to go twice a season .
Huw has always gone cheap....Dont tell me he knew that any of our managers were going to be good as you are deluding yourself. He don't have no skill in picking managers ffs its nothing but good fortune and nothing more....
Bollocks Dai. It's more than that. Every appointment has been the correct one at that period of time. You don't get 'lucky' with 7 appointments in 12-13 years
Unless he is mystic meg he wont know who is good for the club and who is not..... He went cheap and hoped for the best like the rest of us
Of course he knows who is good for the club, otherwise he wouldn't have brought them in as manager Yes there's a risk involved, but your delusional if you think he has no ability in picking the right man for the job. He's done it time after time. That's not pure luck.
So he did employ Martinez and monk because he knew they would be good... Do me a favor he employed them because it was the cheapest option.....I bet Guildo was chosen because he is the cheapest option
Well, apart from Nick Cusack....... Weren't we bottom of the entire Football League when Flynn took over?
