If we have saint max back, I'm going for a 1-2 win. Why not. They just got beat 4 ****in nil of Villa ffs.

I don't want to put words into his mouth but I think it means:

If Bruno starts and we lose it means that Shelvey will start for the rest of the season.

So which do you prefer? I would actually go with Bruno starting (and pray for a win or a draw). We need his energy in midfield in this one.

It's the word lose I struggled to understand. It's not a word I'm familiar with

Shelvey doesn't offer that much though does he? He doesn't assist much, he spreads the ball out well and does some decent defensive work, pops up with 2/3 goals a season, but he is basically a bang average player at this level.

I hope he stays as a squad player as he'd be decent back up, but that's it.

If we swapped him for Bruno, we'd not be losing much. It's Joelinton and Willock that make our CM.

Shelvey is adequate, but adds nothing out of the ordinary like most of our other players.

Max was crap when he came on Krafth had a decent game and Shelvey is invincible.

Defensive work? He didn't make a single tackle in 95 minutes the other day.. He didn't even make a single foul.

I wonder why
