I would have felt confident of winning this if Trippier had been fit, he’s a massive influence. I can see Targett having a tough test against Bowen. We should have paid hull the £20m for him, he’s worth double that now.
From the presser, doesn't sound like Bruno will start again, though I think he'll be pencilled in for a much larger portion of the game. Lot will depend how the week has gone for the other lads. Personally, I'd go 4-2-3-1 against West Ham which is just a slight tweak on the 4-3-3, with Bruno then alongside Shelvey and Joelinton given a bit more license to roam. Harsh on Willock, of course, but I just think Shelvey may protect the defenders a little more. I think the benefit of our run has been gaining confidence and seeing fight. We've not blown anyone away, which is when complacency can kick in - instead it's been tight and they'll know they have to fight harder still to get anything against Wet Spam. Feel the same as the Villa match - defeat most likely, draw is maybe possible. There'd have to be a lot of factors go our way to get the win. 2-2.
We are a bit of a bogey team for the Hammers so we could surprise a few. They are however on a great run and looking very good atm. Their front line and CM's are very good but there CB's aren't all that. Hopefully Antonio and Bowen have off days and ASM can get on form for this one - if he is firing on all cylinders we have a chance as he draw's minimum 2 players to him. Bowen on his side should mean a West Ham CM gets drawn out to him and I'd love to see Bruno in for this one to make runs into the box from deep. Don't know why but have a feeling this one could be won off a set-piece header by BDB!
So judging by Eddie's pre match press conference today, it will 100% be Krafth at RB tomorrow. Bruno on the bench. Leaving the main question about who plays CB, with Lascelles back in contention. He clearly rates Krafth highly and felt that the injuries to Tripps & Manq will allow Krafth the opportunity to prove he's worth "an extended run in the team".
Have we, didn't hear that but AC Milan, Seville and another Spanish club interested in him plus he'll get plenty of offers from the premiership, would like him to stay.
The fact that I'm wrong means I'm actually right. I know that's hard for you to understand, but JokeInEre knows it makes complete sense
