Well well, when I was a member of NO, I was banned (just three month ago) for ridiculing the Howies on there, who were trying to give their bullshit that Howe would 'easily' have a 'top six' club coming in for him.

Well in the space of just over a month, we have had five of these 'top 6' clubs, looking to appoint a new manager, and low and behold, not one has had even a mention of Howe's name being in the frame. To say that I am not surprised, is not an understatement.

Tbh of he stays he stays, but I'd like something changed, and not just the players.. If Howe gets loads of money again, and it improves it only confirms my belief he's been no more than a chequebook manager.

As I said elsewhere I slightly disagree in that I think he’s a plucky underdog manager and it’s why no big club is interested in him. You give him 500m this summer and I’d still be worried about relegation, but you give him Bad News Bears and he’ll get you a small trophy. In an ironic way he’d have been a brilliant choice under Ashley.

There has to be question marks from the board and I wouldn’t be surprised if he still needs to come up with a plan to take this club forward. I don’t think he’s safe as people think; Gordon was sold while he was on holiday. Probably nothing in it, but he was a big fan of Gordon and looking at what Howe has done previously with Trippier, Almiron and others in refusing decent money the Gordon move is interesting.

Slot won a ****ing PL and was sacked because the Liverpool board used their eyes. If ours took 10 minutes to look at this season Howe would be long gone. We’ve lost out on Iraola and Poch already, we need to be on it to ensure we get one of the few remaining.
