Such as? Was EH not backed enough financially? Was he not able to carry out training sessions properly? Did he not have any say over transfers? Was he not able to make tactical decisions and starting line-up decisions? I genuinely want to know what these other factors are that threw our season off so badly that weren't Howe's fault.
As you're obviously " in the know " so to speak. Would it not help to let us know who these multiple players unhappy and wanting out are.
Well I can categorically say that Lewis isn't happy. Anthony wasn't happy. Tonali isn't happy. Tino isn't, Barnes can't be, neither can Woltemade - It is fairly flaming obvious mate. You could see by their body language/effort levels in many games for starters. Being frozen out/dropped/mucked about all season long doesn't tend to lend itself to content players, generally. Interesting that you only chose that one point out of all the others I raised... Wissa and Elanga, again, can't be happy with their performances this season...and if they are they shouldn't be here.
EH openly lies in pressers, saying players that do well, remain in the starting line up. Bollocks! He always drops players for his mates Murphy and Burn. who have been terrible. Murphy all season and Burn for quite some time. (how he is in the England squad and not Hall, I will never know!
Has Lewis told you unequivocally that he's not happy? Could it be that you're surmising the other mentioned players are not happy because it suits your narrative.
I wouldn't pay any attention to a presser, its banalities, cliches and noise, won't have a tangible bearing on anything that goes on. All PL managers conduct themselves exactly the same (though if you listened to some of our lot you'd think Howe was the second coming with his conduct, when he just says the same **** as everyone else).
That doesn't excuse the reality, however. So when Howe says "Burn's never let us down (at left back)" what else will he say? However the manager should never, ever, ever be playing Dan Burn at left back based on team exposure, goals conceded, how bad Burn has played there for a significant amount of time and the fact we have a superb left back and a young right back (Shahar). Change formation, play the youngster, but for the love of ****ing christ you don't pick Burn at left back 'cos he's big. It's this, and many more examples, which is why I'm done with Howe. Demonstrated poor judgement, management, selection, tactics for far too long but he should be forever forgiven 'cos we have a League Cup.? No ta.
5 years as a top 7 spending club, one LC is probably a minimum expected return at this point.
Try telling me a player would be happy being dropped after (by many many reports) having a fall out with the manager, not playing for 3-4 games and then not making the world cup squad, likely in part due to that fact. Stop being obtuse and accept that a large number of the players at the club will be unhappy largely due to decisions that EH has made, in some cases negatively impacting their careers. Or should they be jumping for joy and lining up to sign new deals because of the success of the last 12-15 months?
I'm not being obtuse, I'm just not prepared to take someone's conjecture because they're anti the manager as a given fact.
Okay. So what you're saying is, until I speak to the player directly I am incapable of ascertaining, to a reasonable degree, whether they are happy at the club? Got it.
Does that also mean the opposite is true? You think they're happy? How so, if you do? I also didn't state it as a fact.
EVERYONE associated with the club is annoyed with this season's performance. I, and many other Newcastle fans that I have spoken to are equally fed up with Howe and want him out.
Due to what's gone on at the club this season it is, in my opinion, impossible for a large contingent of the players to be happy and NO-ONE would blame them for wanting out. I really don't think this is an unreasonable position to hold. You may disagree but you can't dismiss my view point as wrong either. If you seriously think the best left back in the country being dropped for seemingly no reason by the manager (no injury, no bad form) and then missing the world cup likely due to that wouldn't make him unhappy, then I don't know what else to tell you.
We'll see who is still here at the beginning of next season and how they play.

You should know as ive given multiple reasons why any club with any dignity or ambition (that the owners have previously communicated that they want) would have been shot of this one trick pony ages ago. Give me your spin on this cluster-**** of a season and explain to me why it isn't Howe's fault and why he deserves another season, other than the league cup win after a 500m spend, when Palace and Villa have done more with less. Your constant regurgitating of your guesses does not make those guesses true. To then go and base excessive negative criticism upon those guesses makes you appear either a wum or stupid or both.
