Thing is bloke was a serial winner. Knows how to win cups and can still attract a bigger name player than Howe. That's the plus side.
The negative will be the football will be boring as **** to watch.........but after this year we're used to that.
Yep.. I think Jose would get that win over the line the other day.
At the end of the day he's seen it all, he's managed the elite, he's also got a personality I think will work well here. He's not scared to say he wants to win the league by 2030. Howe is terrified to be bold.
I'd rather get Nagelsman, but I don't understand why so many Newcastle fans think mourinho isn't good enough for us. We've won one league Cup in 70 years, we're 12th atm and we do struggle to attract big names, which he will help to a degree with.
The other thing I see is people asking who can we get that's better than Eddie Howe... Come on man he's a nobody in the grand scale of things and we're not so unattractive an option for a manager.
I've not seen the who do we get debate....... I've seen the who do we get thats a bigger name and better debate.
Another way of looking at it......How many managers have been great for one or 2 seasons at small to medium sized clubs, got their chance at something bigger and ****ing blown it going to a club with higher expectations. Basically read a A-Z of previous managers from Brighton.
I don't want Howe out for some other minnow... Get me Jose, Ancelotti or some ****er like that.
The haters would ****ing be devastated. They're currently laughing at us and thinking thank God they have Eddie Howe.

Mourinho has a break clause in his Benffica deal this summer apparently. Ancelotti won't leave Brazil before world cup and same could be said for Pochetino and Tuchel I suppose.

A short time ago I myself and I think GG called an end to the bedwetter vs cult ****e and it was going nicely, however after a short while you object to the idea of the board being that way and that was that.
Essentially it's now all your fault....
I'm open to trying again, but the truth is it's never been a one sided issue.

1) We never got the memo
2) As Cult leader I should have had at least a carrier pigeon sent to Mayfair/Hooters/Bodega with diplomatic proposal.
3) Jimmy n Charlie have never had a beer with me yet as per cult membership rules (You're more in the cult than they are)
