I don’t know if sacking EH is the wisest move right now. He’s about as good as I’ve ever known but is dealing with injured top players and a worn out squad. Two games a week has been more damaging to player fitness and league performances than I’d imagined.
We’ll reset in the summer.

Performances were poor before two games a week kicked in.

performances went to **** the minute that James Bunce walked in....... Injuries don't seem to have improved either.
Yeah thats it. Sack Bunce and we are top 6. Insane man. We have lost more games than Leeds. We are top in 5 European leagues for letting in goals in 2026 and we fold under any sustained pressure. Not Howe fault, its Bunce.

If Howe stays on I predict he will be gone by Xmas. The guy only knows high intensity football and when his players get tired he doesn't know what to do.

Hmmmmm.......Tell me when we've been high intensity since Bunce walked in? <doh>

We used to press from the front and be on the opposition immediately........hence the high intensity. Now we sit back and invite sustained pressure. Now let that sink in for a moment and then re-explain your theory about Howe only knowing how to play high intensity football.

This post will sound negative to many, but based on what I've learned over the last 4 years, this is my prediction for next season.

Firstly Eddie Howe is a good bloke he's had success with huge amounts of funding and he deserved some time with credit in the bank.

Whatever happens this summer Howe won't change, that's something we all know, so any signings brought in will be edging towards the Tony pulis side, and they'll not start games anyway, Newcastle will start badly, and by the time he does use the new signings we'll have injuries meaning we'll basically never see the best 11 available at any point in the season. The season will be up in smoke within the 1st two months of the season or we'll be facing a big catch up job , so he'll start playing players out of position and double down on everything other people identify as a problem.

When it becomes apparent things are going badly Howe will say he can't explain it and that he accepts responsibility, but then he'll ruin that by pointing the blame everywhere away from him by saying it's all down to individual errors, uncharacteristic mistakes, fatigue, psr, or even say it's been a difficult summer, but the truth is he's sometimes just being tactically outdone by managers with significantly less resources and he's not changing things that don't appear to work.

You must be on the wind up surely....You are basically saying Bunce is overuling Howe and Howe just accepts this. Got to be a wind up

According to hairy hands lol

Yeah saw that, but I do wonder until we see something concrete about the infrastructure. I'm sure they've got more important things going on that Newcastle though.

With psr and scr they're not much they can do quickly and it's possibly not with all the hassle.

Are you ****ing thick? In what line of work does a manager have more power than a director?

Then Howe should walk if he cant/ is prevented from implementing his style of play. Bunce is a performance director, not Howes boss. That's Wilson

You ****ing mong!

Come on guys don't go full Jeremy Kyle. The last thing anyone wants is infighting.

Everyone is entitled to opinions and those opinions can be challenged, but attacking and insulting people and their opinions doesn't add anything to your argument.

Let's all just acknowledge Howe's success and current failures reasonably.

You really are thicker than whale spunk you stupid twat. Go read what Bunce's job description is.......then come back when you realise your making a complete tit of yourself as per usual.
