That makes sense So the viewing restrictions are created by the set rather than the arena then? (Not been yet although I’m there Friday)
They need big screens for the comedy shows at the Arena, the shows lose a lot when you can’t see fanciful expressions and exactly what’s happening on stage.
Their is a few things not quite right with the arena. The screens already mentioned are a glaring omission ,and somewhere to put your glass on the concourse Tables /shelving which has already been put out tender.The big issue is the queues for the gents toilets If your not sharpish at the interval it’s a choice of a pee or a pint.In a total reversal of the usual the ladies have no problems with no queues at all
I remember reading that the walls in the toilet facilities can move to allow for more room in either depending on whether the audience was majoritively male or female. I could be wrong though
I was sat on the end of a row so was lucky to be straight out for a piss so don't know if ques built up on level 2 ,but one of the things i was impressed with , was how easy it was to get a pint in the interval , compared to some venues .
