Until it goes wrong which it more than likely will. Very very few managers last a long time at the top, Ferguson and Wenger are two that come to mind and they were in a different era.
These days scouts, statisticians, AI, the owner tell you that you need this or that player. The fitness coach and medical team even the player tell you they're fit and ready to play. And so on, is a manager much more than the person who gets put in front of the press pack?
That wasn't the point you made. The point you made suggested we'd be doing as well this season under Selles or Walter as we are under Jak.
