I see the ole FIFA generation cronies and their opposite numbers duelling on the threads this evening.
The "I'm proud" corner slating others of differing opinion as "pathetic". I am of a generation used to beating Manchester sides. Old enough to have seen both come up to our division. I did have us down to beat them today. Am I surprised how well we played: no. Am I surprised we lost the game in the end: no. Am I annoyed at the changes made: yes. Do I think the last two statements linked: yes.
Actually I have NOT seen many negative comments on here. The only criticism being the changes made (as I also have questioned). The so called neg heads just showing that they think that Nigel is not infallible. God forbid!?!
The reality for 99% is we have a long way to go and we will improve our results. It does not and should not mean there should never be a question over a player(s) performance or anyone in the Southampton hierarchy.
There are a select few that post on here (mates of each other) that stop a wider community contributing to the forum. Unfortunately there is no ignore button on the iPhone ap (or one I can't see), I for one ignore said posters' comments anyway.
A comment of "oh no the meg heads are gonna be suicidal" or making a positive thread is not conducive to having a fair or open forum.
I tend to agree with various and select comments from opposing views. However, it is forum suicide to start trying to make a forum just one way of thinking: i.e., yours!
