Ladapo lumbering around looking lost. Fresh legs needed.

Yep it was the cup game where he tore into the players that did it. Not complaining.

Ironically it was Paul Hurst who did us the favour.

I think this is our season, fellas. We’re absolutely miles clear of fourth spot now and in the best position of everyone to go and strengthen in January too.

I think it’s a two horse race and if we want to win it then it’s going to come down to our January business.

What a shocker, one goal is never enough.

Gutted. We do keep throwing games away.

We let them play their way back and score a total flook of a goal.

Trouble is Hampy, we are not miles away from 3rd . If teams below win their games in hand the gap will not be there.

Plymouth will drop away. The others are too far to catch us unless we capitulate. Can’t see that happening.

We’ve nearly made it to January well in touch of the top. McKenna will be able to go and do whatever he thinks best in the window. That’ll do for me for this stage.

Absolute sickner, our own fault we've got to learn to kill games off rather than just see them out.

It was a freak. It happens. Over the course of a season these things level out. Don’t sweat it.

First half i thought we were really good tonight, the balance of the team with Edwards as a left forward and Chaplin more central made a real difference. And Morsy was superb with Humpreys next to him.

Second half was a different story but we still kept our shape and conceded an unfortunate goal. I think one of the biggest things for me today is we couldn't rely on our bench to change the game too much. Having someone on the bench today like Lee Evans could've made the world of difference. I also don't mind Ladapo and he offers a good focal point but he's not explosive in any way in terms of turn of pace or attacking the box. I wouldn't say he goes through the motions but he's good at holding the ball up and leading the line but pretty average at everything else.

Can't be too critical as I don't think we did that much wrong we just had to dig in but second half Humphreys went missing and sometimes we were trying to be too clever on the ball. I actually thought Fleetwood played some decent football and dominated possession second half without ever really looking too much of a threat however they also made the game a scrap and the ref let them, I'm a fairly patient person but I think I could've quite easily smacked a couple of Fleetwood players tonight, how they only had a player sent off in the 97th minute I don't know.

Another thing that really didn't help was the pitch, thought it looked pretty ropey and given the players we have it didn't help with quite a few slips.

I tend to agree with Hampy I get the feeling Plymouth will drop away again and it'll be us and Sheffield Wednesday top 2.

Big concern at the moment is injuries especially in midfield, if Morsey gets injured we could be in trouble

That’s very true. A few key players - Morsy, Walton and Donacien - we can’t do without.

Like Sheff wed, Charlton, Port vale and Chesterfield, it's not a freak, it's becoming a common occurance, conceding stupid late goals is a bad habit we have, once again, got into, we are not killing games off!!
It's no surprise though tbh, not when we have strikers like Jackass and Ladapo. We will be fine if we strengthen up top in January, if not....we ain't going up!
