    Just so that you can answer questions on the name Dreyfus.

    The Dreyfus affair: Alfred Dreyfus was wrongly convicted of passing secrets to the Germans, spent 5 years on Devils Island (the Papillon one) and was eventually absolved.

    Inspector Dreyfus: Charles Dreyfus. He’s the one in the Pink Panther films, the one who is Clouseau’s enemy, played by Herbert Lom.

    Kyril Dreyfus: He’s one of us (Kyril is a Mackem) and so is his Mam.

    Haway the Dreyfus Mackems.

    Yup and Brody (Scheider) wasn't upset about it either in the book as Dreyfus had shagged his wife in it.
