Only passing on what I was told but if true, no reason to doubt it, it could be more trouble.

In the club shop before yesterdays game and a member of staff told me club in panic because Tombola have pulled out of sponsership deal.

New shirt release 2 weeks time and no sponser to put on, they are franticly searching for new sponser.

May be total bollocks but there you go.

if contracts have been signed I can't see how they could just pull out if they feel like it.

Like Chappaz says, you can't just 'pull out' of a sponsorship deal.#

I'd quite gladly not have that ****ing monstrosity accross the front of our shirts, as it happens.

Yeah I miss the days of Brown Ale/Vaux. The rivalry was far more ... bitter ...<cracker>

I don't mind it compared to BOYLESPORTS and their massive blue triangle slapped on the front of it.

I'd have the Reg Vardy back anyday though.

Whilst Nissan would be class, as the city's biggest employers, and a respected worldwide brand, there's no way a car maker can afford to be pulling out cash to sponsor a football club in the current financial conditions.

I'd love them to prove me wrong on this like.

So what should we have? NakedYoungPuppies.com?

Nissan wont becasue their workforce is 50/50 Sunderland and Newcastle and like Catterpillar in Peterlee they dont want to favour either club
