Doc Emmanuel Smallwood Feel bad leaving Honeyman out, but he's had more than enough votes from me so far this season.
Hard to chose a top three because that was a very good team performance. 1, Shared between Smallwood/Docherty/Honeyman ( exceptional in the second half) 2. Magennis/Emmanuel. 3. Wilks (almost unplayable in the first half).
Docherty - his best game for the club today Honeyman - the usual energy and stamina Emanuelle - another match seeing him up and down that wing attacking and defending Overall though another good team display with the 2 young centre backs doing well. Come on City
1. Smallwood (just) .. yet again mr consistency .. links things up beautifully and puts those important challenges in when and where needed .. captains performance for me. 2. Docherty .. lads definitely got an engine on him .. excellent return to the team and wasn't far off my m.o.m. 3. Alfie .. very composed and didn’t let the team down .. looks a player this lad and together with Greaves marshalled things really well all night.
Docherty Smallwood Magennis Thought Honeyman had his worst game since Sunderland in the first game, he was still better than anyone on their side though. Was it my imagination, or did Eaves' excellent cameo include no offsides and no stupid fouls? Be nice if that was a corner turned.
Honeymonster - A remarkable talent - All over the field as usual - worth three players Docherty - Finally showed us what he is capable of. The missing link in mid-field. Emmanuel - Impossible to knock off the ball. Great crosses also. The best team performance of the season. No weak links. Could have been 5-0.
Did the commentator said he has the highest number of tackles in the league this season? For someone more renown for his creativity and quality on the ball/buzzing around the forwards, thats no mean feat.
