Does anyone actually like the flat?

    I prefer the Jumps these day's but very similar to alot on here in that i would have leaned toward the flat when i first started getting into racing. I actually don't mind any race that i think i can make money on, think being the key word.

    I hate the flat. Just find it a bit boring. And from a betting perspective, I tend to do a lot better on the jumps (just had Party Rock @ 9/2). Nothing more annoying than backing a horse on the flat and watching it cruising, but getting boxed in by some donkeys.

    From a betting point of view, yes. The flat is not as crooked as the jumps.

    I will watch the jumps, especially the Cheltenham Festival when the bookies line their pockets as this year’s “next Arkle” from Ireland loses and outsiders that have not jumped a twig all season win most of the handicaps.
