Fact is, fuchs was in so much space in the middle of the penalty area
Defend like that and you don't win games

I agree the first he should have done better, but the second was through a crowd of players; Mahrez shouldn't have been allowed to take that many touches and then shoot.

Such a simplistic thing to say. Mahrez was the Player of the year last season for a reason. If it was that easy to just stop him then everyone would.

It's not though is it. Where were the midfield while robbo was getting twisted and turned? Nowhere.
Same with fuchs goal. Midfield didn't cover across or defend the box.

It's not easy to stop him, but it's quite easy to at least try. He had the ball for a long time before he had the shot.

It wasn't just Robbo. There was two of them and he had both their pants down cos he's a bloody good player. It happens ffs.

It was Maguire who had to come out the midfield were nowhere. They're the screen, they weren't there.

The two rigid and schooled defensive lines that Silva has favoured were non-existent for most of the match - we were sloppy, slow and lacking any real bite (Clucas apart). Couple more performances like yesterday and relegation will be guaranteed.

Which is worrying. We didn't battle with burnley or yesterday. They should be scrapping for their lives.
I do wonder if we can play two windy wingers in a battle.

I think you're bang on with your wingers theory, yesterday we missed the guys who do the hard, dirty miles - Meyler (on the bench), Livermore (gone) alongside Clucas would have made things far more difficult for Leicester.

I too think McGregor is our best keeper, although he (like all keepers) has made howlers.
Neither Jak or Marshall convince me at all and never have done.
I too think up top is where the problems are. We still need that £70M striker that every club feels they deserve, or we establish two we have - Id like to see Hernandez and Niasse paired. Having said that I bow to all managers (including armchair types) who say this can't be done.

We should play a staunch 3-3-4 and **** **** up with our two lightning wingers in perm. attack mode
