After today I have to say he hasn't put a foot wrong so far, in word or deed, imo ......... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24889672

Yes, I do.
Must admit I had my doubts.
At first, the team selection, the `old guard`, etc etc.
He`s got them playing in their proper positions, passing, confidence, all improved 100%.
A big plus for me has been his substitutions, proves to me he is really reading the game.

I didn't really realise that before......... but the big difference between him and MON is the subs, as well as the game plan, tactics, shape, dedication, application, passion etc of course.
(That wasn't sarcasm btw, this internet seems to distort my true feelings.)
exactly so, it says to me that not only is he reading the game, but he`s also reading the opposition.
obviously it won`t work every time but up to now he`s got it exactly right. Even against Hull where there could have been a damaging goal difference he got it right.
mine and your minds are very similar, are you my my dad or something?

Hate to tell you this mate
but
You`re my fault

We have a British/Irish backbone now again (vital imo in this league) with OShea, Brown, Bardsley, Colback, Cattermole, Johnson and Fletcher. Add to that experienced EPL players such as Cuellar, Larsson (he was back to his old best today), Ki and you have a good mix. Add again to that the like of Altidore and Borini looking to improve and play games and you have a winning combination.
We have won 3 out of 5 games played under Gus and he oozes calmness and quality. His press conferences and interviews are easy to understand and his message simple and its a message the players seem to be grasping very quickly. We look fitter (still going on 93 mins today) and his substitutions are made with thought and great timing. He knows when to bring on fresh legs and doesn't waste time.
In dropping Giacherinni and recalling Bardsley he has shown not to be afraid of controversial decisions but he seems to be able to do that and still retain the essence of the team. The players today and against the mags looked united and together and the club has that warm fuzzy feeling again.
I like Poyet and would have taken him after MoN was sacked, so I am more than happy to have him now. Nothing I have seen so far or heard from him gives me any cause for concern, in fact it fills me with much confidence he will turn this season round and rewrite the history books.
Great game today, great performance and unbelievable result.

for me..
Let me tell you lads, that Poyet is no man's mug. When we were suffering the humiliation of Ramos, Poyet was the only man who managed to instill any sense of pride in Spurs. He was the one who conducted all of the interviews, and I always sensed that he wished he had complete control of the team. I strongly suspect that if he had, we wouldn't have needed to draft in that barrow-boy, Redknap.
Today's was a massive result, by any standard, and by any team. I hope we manage to play with the same degree of confidence and conviction against £ity as your boys did, today.
Well done!
