Nice one, doesn't sound like it'll free up wages from what Methven said but it can't hurt and shows again that we won't take any crap.
If you look at Donalds twitter it give the impression it WILL help going forward. He seems very positive about it.
If we get some money if/when N'Dong signs for another club, we may yet get something if this twat does. We'll save his wages and snotty attitude if nowt else though
Love how our club is being run now....some days are just worth living Noticed on the statement it never thanked him for his service or wished him the best for the future. It would give me great pleasure if the club had finished the statement by saying now he can go and f*ck himself....
Good riddance, another chapter closed. Forgotten already, all I see is the future and it looks good to me.
Poor soul. He must be suffering from a severely bruised ego just now. Convinced that he was far too good to be playing for us. No doubt expecting a huge queue of potential employers would come knocking. Dijon weren't prepared to pay the wages he thought he was worth and neither was anyone else, it seems. One of the poorest Centre Backs, (if that's where he was supposed to be playing), I've seen in a Sunderland shirt. Whatever it might have cost to get him away from our Club would be worth it.
Awful wasn't he. Debut: he looks dodgy but I'm not writing anyone off after one match haha Game 2: that was an... interesting performance Game 3: ok so he's useless. Just how much baby giraffe with an ear infection and one missing leg DNA does he have in him?
If / when we get back to the Prem, it is really important that we remember the impact that these tw@ts had on our club. Under-pressure managers panic, throw money around, and hope for the best. We sack the manager, but are left with a tw@t, with a 4 year contract on £50k a week
A handful of players, aided and abetted by hopeless CEO's, almost bankrupted the club, while walking off with millions. I would rather stay in the lower leagues than go through anything like that again. Relegations hold no fears, compared to another dose of the Rodwells, et al.
Spot on. A1. But the reason that Managers are often under pressure is the Fans. THAT MEANS US. Is it too much to hope that we, in the collective sense, will remember this lesson.
Absolutely I was talking to a Sheffield Utd fan when I was on holiday recently. He said he never wanted to see his team in the Prem again. He loves the tough but honest championship. Promotion would mean investment, debt, mercenary players, and so on. I couldn't disagree with him.
