As a squad member Campbell will be an ok addition, playing in league cup and coming off the bench occasionally. But if we by him to be a regular first teamer I would be very concerned.

With the unproven Whickham and Dong we really need a quality partner for Gyan and hopefully these 2 can then be integrated into the team rather than thrown in at the deep end.

I could see us going for Defoe as mentioned in a previous thead. If that does not happen we would go for DJ instead. Sign Welbeck on loan and then spend big on a quality centre back like Samba. If Oshea signs too were just about sorted.

Someone on SMB said we had offered 16m for Defoe and Hutton. I could see that myself as Arry needs to sell before he can buy.

I reckon if we bring in DJ, and the Zog, we'll be bangin next season. If they come in with a couple of them man u lads, things will be looking up. Although with both Whickham and DOng Won both saying they will need time to bed in and not to expect too much, I still think Brucie may pull something out the bag and bring in a proper experienced striker for good money.

Would rather not have DJ Campbell 2bh

We have a decent bunch of strikers at the minute with Gyan, Campbell, Wickham and Ji but with two of them having no premier league experience and Campbell possibly out for the season we still need IMO a top quality premier league striker who will get 10+ goals.

Pavyluchenko, Defoe, or Rodallega would be ideal or even going into the loan market for Sturridge or Welbeck again
