Not sure how oak would work? Should be good I suppose might be even better depending on what was in the barrel?

Tiling is done. Starting the grouting today. I’m using a black grout which sounds like it’s going to be messy as ****.

coz I know I’ll get grout all over it doing the top line of tiles. Will paint and touch up afterwards

That black grout was messy af mate

It will look tidy when I'm all finished, ceiling painted, edges done, shelf in etc

But yeah, that stuff got fkin everywhere.

I wouldn't even have the patience mate, so you do better than me. I'd start a job, but then not finish it....I'm very much like Schlem when it comes to DIY....finish it in a years time, so in the new gaff I do **** all, and it's just how I like it.
