since you need 1 foot of horizontal for every inch of vertical so the ramp would end about 3 foot in the river i'm not convinced that would be a good idea .

Word of warning there like, day rates with no deadlines can end in tears. I speak from experience after hiring a painter & decorator a few years back who spent half his day smoking tabs, and tried dragging out a 10 day job into 3 1/2 weeks. We fell out.He's also given me a rough idea of how long it takes which also sounds reasonable for the work. I thought it sounded cheap.

Still remember some blokes who were painting the outside of the Unemployment Benefit Office and 2 literally got off their ladders and went inside and signed on . Apparently they actually seemed surprised when their benefit got stopped and told it had been passed to consider prosecutionLike he’s also signing on, but take it anyway lol.
