OK, so what's everyone doing to take their mind off the game between now and Saturday (****ing doesn't count, that's normal).

I'm down the shed doing motorbike stuff that I've been putting off for months.

Drinking and listening to my LPs. And doing that sweepstake.

I've finished all my Uni work for the year (and as a result, for good) so I've got nowt to do at the moment.

Reading the book "The pie at night" by Stuart Maconie. Watching "Jack Irish" on Fox, drinking and trying to get City promotion on career mode of FIFA. I should never have bought Charlie Austin....

My body has decided to have the worst dose of manflu ever known, today, Tuesday, on my only day off, the rest of the week I'll be working, so if anyone wants a new car...

  1. Sorting my greenhouse out; bringing my tomato plants on; peas, lettuce, courgettes and squash plants a-growing.
  2. Fields of spuds, carrots, parsnips and onions all around me
  3. Drinking fine ales down my village local.

I might go to the KC tomorrow and spend the day laughing at the hoards of Wednesday fans who are apparently going to drive all the way to Hull just to be refused a ticket.

They're mad. If only they read the owls talk board, they'd know 5,000 Wednesday turned up today and all got 6 tickets each.

They must think everybody is as thick as them.

I'm picking up my new motorbike tomorrow, a Triumph Tiger 800 XRx. Well I had to have a Tiger at some point.

Trying to avoid communication with all the plastic bastards who are begging to come round to my place to watch the big game and drink all my bloody beer.
In particular, my ex-missus.

Normal build up to the game for me I don't want nerves affecting my singing voice or legs going like jelly if we score, I'm trying to keep the other 6 members of my party nice and calm. Told the wife no funny buiness for the next three nights got to have plenty of energy for Saturday said she understands I thought some how she would. I am not going to drink now save it for after the game, have a few early nights, take it easy, put a stick on my massive flag, shirt, trousers ready, car flags will go on car Friday night, be prepared I don't want to get injured I have been before three times which all went to quick. This time I want to take it all in be with fellow fans from all walks of life who will join together as one and help lead this great city back into the premier league. Enjoy everyone.
