Well, we probably need another 10 points out of 14 games to avoid the drop (although 40 points might not be enough this season). You need to get the 10 points though, and I don't know where they're going to come from, given the demoralised state of the team, which even Pardew admits.

dont quite think its relegation worry time just yet, will just take ya team a little bit of time to sort out the fact that they have lost a good player.

I found Barton to be more of a hindrance to our football than Guthrie.

On almost every occasion when Barton got the ball near the touchline, as opposed to looking in-field and switching play up and passing like he should be, he would just huff the ball forward to one of the donkeys up front, posession changes, and they're coming back at us. I was pretty annoyed with Barton last night
