Bookings? Last July, pretty much all the places I go drinking were never busy enough to warrant booking a table. Also helps when you get the nudgewink from a bar proprietor who has told the general public that he's opening at 2 o clock on Thursday when he's actually open at 12.

I bet there’s a queue for those four tables outside AdmiralWas talking to a landlord the other day who thinks he might only open Friday/Saturday and Sunday until 6pm as he can't see the much midweek trade happening.

What's the name of it (the drinking establishment, not the bridge)? I think I know the one. Under normal circumstances, does it have glass pods outside overlooking said bridge? We spent a few enjoyable hours there, three/four years ago. For where it was, prices weren't stupid either.Got a nice table overlooking Tower Bridge on Tuesday eve. Hope they have outside heating.
