Did anyone think we would waltz into the prem and beat established teams immediately?

After 3 matches we've kept 2 clean sheets and are above both Arsenal and Spurs. Not a bad start to the season. Spurs lost 5-1 at home to Man City, so there is no shame in use losing our first match 4-0 to the probable winners of the Premier League this season. I still think we can finish 9-10th.

Anyone feeling a bit confident about the away trip 2 Arsenal! If they play anywhere near as piss poor as that in a fortnight Graham will get his first swans hat-trick **** just his first goal lol. Awful!!! Get money on Wenger to be fired first!!

we was blitzed by man city, got a creditable draw against wigan and should have won against sunderland, i think we're doing ok so far, next up is a trip to arsenal who have just been blitzed for 8(yes eight) at man utd, if we can get something there we'll be doing very well. onwards and upwards.

I have a soft spot for Arsenal, and they have about 8 players out injured, they need greater quality in depth, Shabby is a player not good enough for Arsenal, and Ramsey is holding the fort on his own in the midfield, which again is not good enough, and VP on his own up front is not good enough, and he's not a prolific striker, even Sinclair would have buried that penalty, but if the Gunners don't spend now, then Arsene Wenger will be under intense pressure to keep his job. On a plus side it does seem a good time to play Arsenal, but then maybe Wenger will be looking for a reaction from his player at home when they take on the Swans, I'm sure Brendan Rodgers will be pondering the backlash of todays game! Still I hope we can do something, I hope they play Shabby, shame Jenkinson is out for our game though, will be an interesting fixture, very interesting indeed.................

Arsenal have their troubles but I wouldn't read too much into this. Man U beat City in the Charity shield and we know what happened when we played them afterwards. The big teams have real strength in depth and we will still have to be at our very best to get anything at the Emirates.

Arsen,s job must be hanging by a thread after this result....its a shame as he is a nice guy but nice guys dont win trophies and a big club like arsenal should do far better....we may put the final nail in his coffin if we can win or draw at their place and i think we can do it too...

Not wishing to be pendantic, but "....its a shame as he is a nice guy but nice guys dont win trophies"

Think you'll find they've won a few under his stewardship.

He'll need to do some 'shopping' before the window, they'll probably get Cahill & rumours of Arteta & a few others, they'll have Frimpong back after suspension, but I'm not sure how far Wilscher is from a return??!! Vermallen again, not sure?? So I think it'll still be a formidable Arsenal we'll be facing & we'll be extremely lucky to get anything from there!!
