However, transactions like these are very complex and may collapse at any one of a thousand steps in the process. We appear to have 990 steps behind us without mishap: a new bidder would be starting from Step 1, which would increase the risk of the club folding to a massive extent.
I am optimistic in that IF the club can get back to playing football and get its finances stabilised over a couple of years, then normal service can be resumed, such as normality is a concept recognised in football. In that scenario, who owns the ground is neither here nor there and I couldn't care less as long as the club survives.
