I sense a win at villa fellas, will this change the minds of a few on here?
G'day mate, it wasn't a question for you as I know you have a steady head on your shoulders! I'm excited for the swede and what he can bring to our team... Villa have stuffed us the last few seasons.. What I would do to see us take 3 pts mate! Come on fellas!!Course it will mate. Some folk on here have major reactions/melt downs purely on a game by game basis.
So, are you gonna judge his heart and head based on our performance against vill mate?He looked a beaten man at that press conference to me like. Certainly don't agree with this article but I worry if Dick's head and heart are still in it.

Or maybe you could try a positive thought instead of making everything so negative? A player who looks an improvement on our squad and signed with no risk and its negative?

I hope your right marra as always I predict a Sunderland win.I sense a win at villa fellas, will this change the minds of a few on here?

Is it fair to say that DA's head been down this season based on the current transfer window? I think he has struggled with it mate, the only bloke that will get you up for the games is the manager! He had the same blokes at the club last season, actually a poorer squad but got them up for the run in and we got the required results.. Any decent manager/coach in the world gets their team up for the games, I reckon he's struggling a little with the lack of funds regarding transfers.. This does not make him a poor manager mind, the best ones get there teams up the games and the best outta themNot really, I'll continue to watch his press conferences and interviews and see if there is any sign of a lifting of his mood.
There is very little joy and positivity in his words and it's a case of hoping something happens to put him back in the right frame of mind. As I see it, we have a club figurehead lacking trust and belief and that's not a good place to be in any walk of life.
I believe in the General and I can see a positive result at villa..If we win mate, the pies are on me!!!I hope your right marra as always I predict a Sunderland win.

True I just hope he doesn't leave us with a Danny graham out of spite. He looked a beaten man at that press conference to me like. Certainly don't agree with this article but I worry if Dick's head and heart are still in it.
Cheers mate, I can eat more pies then stevie BruceIf we win mate, the pies are on me!!!![]()
maws pies I miss themMuch on tonight Monty?Dick said in the echo today how he is shocked on recent managers poor signings, and the club are paying out for players he will not play. I reckon there will be hell on now, and the director of football as well as De canio and Poyet will be held accountable for this. There has to be in the future written in a contract that NO inferior players are to be signed, which of course has happened, and why this story has come up now and not over the last 40 years ago is a mystery. Ellis cannot run this football club and that is that, so it is time to get someone from the f a to investigate what is going on, the players are not interested, so they are NOT playing for this football club, so are not honouring their contracts as far as I am concerned. This will go down the road of Bob murray and "sack the board" etc will ring out. Dick will open a huge can of worms before he leaves, as he is the first experienced, knowledgeable manager we have ever had.

According to Ellis and Dick previous managers have signed average/poor player on high wages hence the club is in a mess and looking at relegation. Fair enough (although Ellis did oversee it all and signed off on players and wages) however what gripes me is the solution of still signing average/poor players on less wages!!! Yes the wages will reduce as will running costs but you'll still have a **** team staring relegation in the face! Poor excuse in my opinion. This ain't Advocaats fault man
He's been sold a dummy - same as the rest of us
The poor quality and high cost of the existing players is a rope around the club's neck. There is no room to manoevre
