You promised me partial credit and gave it to mackem Did i miss something in B1? Webber scored 242 points and his teammate won the title. I didn't know he had to come second as with Prost.
prost scored 104 points while Senna scored 91? But Senna won champ, think thats what the question was
Awh crap, sorry, I hadn't noticed I'd given him credit over you, its fixed now. Sorry. The point of B1 was that Prost should have won the championship, as he had the most points over the course of the season, but failed to because the scoring system at the time only took into account a drivers best x results. Sorry if that wasn't clear. Sorry JerseyMackem, you hadn't answered anything extra, I've simply made a mistake and given you extra credit.
A3: Going for the bonus points. British: Hamilton (1), Button (1), Damon Hill (1), Graham Hill (2), Mansell(1), Clark (2) and Stewart (3). Germany: Schumacher (7) and Vettel (1). Brazil: Piquet (3) and Senna (3). Edit: James Hunt as well, knew I was forgetting one.
AG, Germany is correct, Brazil is missing one driver, and Britain is missing a considerable number, so not quite. I'll give you a clue, its 8 championships each for Germany and Brazil, and 14 for Britain from 10 drivers.
A3: British: Hamilton (1), Button (1), Damon Hill (1), Graham Hill (2), Mansell(1), Clark (2) Stewart (3), Mike Hawthorn (1), James Hunt (1) John Surtees (1) Germany: Schumacher (7) Vettel (1). Brazil: Piquet (3) Senna (3) Fittipaldi (2)
I think SilverArrow is the first person to give me a complete answer, so I'm giving him the credit and the rep (If anyone else would like to do the same so its worth more, feel free). I'm happy for someone who has posted earlier to contest it though (and then probably get rep too).
Mike Hawthorn for Britain. One more... How can I not remember the Brazilian? Must've won two titles... John Surtees was the other Brit. Who was the bloody Brazilian though. Edit: Just seen SilverArrow's beaten me to it.
3) In 2001 when launch control was re-introduced, what was special about the Renault system, before it was banned? - It was somehow linked to teh start lights so autmoatically set off when teh lights changed? 5) In the 96 Monaco Grand Prix, David Coulthard borrowed what from another driver? (And which driver did he borrow it from) - He borrowed a crash helmet from M Schumacher
