As Finland is cold it must be a hot animal, i'm going to go with a babboon.

I didn't quite mean for an F1 quiz to degenerate into "guess the animal", but no, its not a Baboon either. Its a reptile if that's any help?

I'll give you turtle (I believe technically it was a tortoise), sorry to deny you ArsenalFan. Thank God the animal guessing is over!

B7 and C7 (can people see C7???) are unanswered, although B7 is pretty tough, and C7 is a little tricky too, but quite a well known driver.

Strange, I can now see the image in the above post, I've put an alternative link in for C7 for now, whilst I look for a replacement image of the same driver/car/year.

EDIT: Ok, the OP has been updated with a new image. Its the same driver/car/year as before if anyone had looked at the original.

    Didn't see C7 yesterday either.

Its Andrea de Cesaris in a Rial-Ford from 1988.

I think B7 is Oliver Gavin, who's racing a Corvette in the Le Mans 24 Hours this weekend.

Spot on, well done. The picture for this has been playing up, so hopefully this new one was better.

Genji, he was the last full time driver yes, but technically not the last person person other than Bernd Maylander to drive it, there was a stand in for one race, whose name is technically the one I'm after, but I'd feel really bad taking that away from you! The stand-in driver is also competing at Le Mans, if that helps narrow it down?

Sorry! I think there'll be a couple of others over the next few weeks though, including this bumper quiz SilverArrow is planning!

I've had another look at the list and there are a few familiar names (other than the obvious Ex-F1 drivers) but no one who I could say I've definitely heard of in connection with F1. I'd just be guessing.

    Is B7 Marcel Fassler?

As he's on pole for Le Mans its worth a guess!

And thats the end of the quiz folks! Marcel Fassler drove the safety car for the 2001 Canadian Grand Prix, when Bernd Maylander was unavailable. Well done!
