Previous times SFC have been relegated from the top tier it took 4 seasons the first time, and 7 the second time. I wouldn´t want it to take over a decade after the next one.
Was someone here citing the Barcelona academy as a fine example of the way SFC should go? They are still producing good players but not at the level that helped them to win several CLs and provided the backbone to Spain winning in 2008.2010 and 2012. Atlético also have a fine academy, the two standouts being Koke and Saul.
Like others it is cyclical. But didn´t want to mention the obvious, so went for Atlético instead. Maybe we should go to West London and sign all the youngters destined to become Chelsea players on-loan.
