Realised I'd lost the will to watch the end of the match when my stream showed Sylla coming on on repeat about four times with no sign of stopping. Bedtime instead, then at least I can go to sleep in the hope I'll wake up to us having won 2-1.
Derby have played a good pressing game, particularly in this half. As we don't have that many, if any at all, players that are comfortable on the ball, it's been relatively easy for them to win the ball back high up the field. As was pointed out by the half-time Sky pundits, the Rangers backs are moving back quickly as a unit too, making it more likely for Derby to pick up the second ball. What's very disappointing is that Ollie hasn't done anything to address any of this. Sure he's missing Luongo tonight, but his substitution of Wsolek for Goss was just plain weird. I'd have also kept Washington on and swapped Smith for Sylla earlier.
Ned going from bad to worse, overall we've had no fluidity to our play, the old bugbear of not stringing three passes together has returned with a vengeance...
Well... I guess if we can be laughably bad against a decent team and get to 83mins only losing to a scrappy goal... we must have come a long way. I'm with DR... hopefully wake up to an undeserved 2-1
Not seen anything from Goss yet to quicken the pulse and make me think we have a player on our hands.
