Traore's best performance for us V Burnley, and he's rewarded by being dropped completely. Surely he's got a knock..

If we had won 1-0 at home against Derby playing like that, this forum would have gone into meldown.

I agree. Tactically got it wrong all season. Sets up for tight games. Inevitably these could go either way. Lucky results went for us as the start of the seaon now are going against us.

Kranjcar wasted out on the left. AJ then Maigia pointless, O'Neil pointless, Carroll pointless

We don't often agree Peter but that's absolutely spot on. I thought Carroll was absolutely nonexistent again tonight.
Is also start to question Harry's back room staff. They can't all be this blind surely
 
Harry came for a point with a pointless selection, we are playing like strangers. There's no incision to our play and no balance throughout the side, we need to hope Reading and Wigan don't come with late runs or we might just miss out on even the play-offs. 17 games to go and plenty of time for us to blow it...

Were we really that bad? BBC stats suggest we had more possession and more shots on target, except of course they scored from one of their chances:
Possession:
Derby 43% QPR 57%
Shots:
Derby 9 QPR 10
Shots on target:
Derby 2 QPR 3
Corners:
Derby 10 QPR 6
Fouls:
Derby 17 QPR 14
 
If we cannot beat the teams around us, then even if we make the playoffs, seems unlikely we'll get promotion. I'm not fickle but really would love just one performance to really give me some cheer this season. A thrashing dealt out to someone in the top half or a strong away win.
 
Nuts, quality does not make a winning team, effort and the will to give a 100%. Prefer to lose trying to win a match rather than lose with a wimper.
Agree, switching team each week not great, but with our squad need to improve or we are in trouble.

And that is a perfect example of why stats don't always tell the full story, they were the better team mate and looked far more dangerous. We are toothless

After seeing that, I stand by what I said...... Very Unconvincing. Play offs for you boys if you continue to play like that.
 
The key tonight was, evidently, pace. Why HR started with O'Neil and niko on the wings in a game where we really had to get something I will never know. We only ever looked dangerous when Hoilett got on the ball, and was actually running at their defence.

Traore on the left, Hoilett on the right with niko through the middle please.
 
the strange thing is I dont really feel anything and I have definately lost a bit of love for most of this team.... I've been like this for most of the season. Where is the passion and team ethic and pride in the shirt???... And why do we keep talking about 'best squad in the league'...really??. Austin and maybe Phillips but the rest are very,very avegrage players....
