Really got to admire Derby, their fans and Rooney. And other results so going for us at the moment. Brum come back to get a point the other night when we want them too and lose a 2 goal lead today.
Derbys problem is, that even if someone bails them out and the administrators agree a fee (£1 and settle all debts) the fans are still fooked unless there is an agreement to further invest... We just dont know how lucky we might be...
Impressive turn out from their fans for a march to the ground for an early kick off. Quite a few more than we mustered for similar things in the past.

I hope that derby get through it, but I feel conflicted as they have enjoyed previous playoffs, big money transfers for a number of years deceptively. I am impressed with their current solidarity, and would like for them to stay up. would have preferred them and fc massive to have both gone down last season though.
If they are relegated they would be in League 1. If they fold it would be down the pyramid. Would be interesting to see what would happen as a club of Derby's size has never gone bust and had to start again.
Where are Gateshead FC? They could take their place and be Gateshead FC trading as Derby County FC. These sort of things have happened before.

They've flagrantly had it over the EFL for seasons... the EFL never stood up to them.... I hope any rescue falls through... with a degree of sympathy for genuine football supporters ..
Yup pretty much sums it up for me too. They cheated as a club and need to pay the price.
Trouble is supporters pay the price. Were we responsible for the actions of Hinchcliffe/Buchanan or Lloyd? Love or loathe the Allams they never put us in this situation. But if they had most fans would, like Derby's, have backed them until the **** hit the fan.

Can supporters make a claim for stress against the EFL and Middlesbrough FC?
Surely we all have grounds for a claim for the stress this is causing us.
On average a payout for stress may range between £39,000 to £83,000.
If we take the middle figure, that would be £61,000 each.
If 30 thousand of us claim the total would be over £1.8 billion.
Us supporters could buy Derby and have money left over.
It would also bankrupt Middlesbrough and maybe even the EFL.
Maybe we could take class action claim.
My blood pressure has gone up to dangerous levels and the only stress I have is what is going on with Derby. I am sure it must be effecting the health of thousands of Derby supporters.
Do we have any legal experts here that could tell us if this is possible.

MFC has always maintained that its claim against Derby County is a football related debt and that it should be treated as such. MFC welcomes the EFL’s confirmation that it shares this view. If the administrators believe that the EFL are not entitled to take this stance, MFC has offered to refer the matter to a judge to decide.
The administrators were appointed in September but have consistently refused to engage with MFC’s attempts to engage with them to reach a resolution. There are several letters from us which the administrators have ignored. MFC is extremely disappointed that this administration has not been concluded successfully and that the administrators have, instead, through the media, continuously sought to make scurrilous and unfounded suggestions that it is the claims of our club and Wycombe, and the EFL, that are preventing a successful outcome. It is not true and these statements are deeply unfair, not only to our club, but also to the Derby County supporters who deserve better.
There has been no suggestion that the administrators have reached an agreement with Derby County’s other main creditors. We believe that the administrators have a duty to the public to answer the questions we asked in our open letter of 20 January 2022. MFC understands that the debt owed to MSD is (i) personally guaranteed by Mr Morris and (ii) is secured against the stadium. This means that Mr Morris has agreed to pay the MSD debt if there is a shortfall. Is this correct? And, if so, what contribution is being sought from Mr Morris?
A significant focus of MFC’s claim against Derby County relates to the sale of Derby County’s stadium and the belief that it was done in a way which manipulated the Profit and Sustainability Rules. The same transaction is now a material reason why the administration cannot be resolved. MFC, and many other stakeholders in football, do not understand why the administrator refuses to acknowledge this problem and, instead, chooses to unfairly blame us, Wycombe and the EFL.

Interesting short docu on YouTube about the Rams. They spent a lot on players who didn't delivery. Few if any are still there. Plus a couple of losses in the playoff final didn't help. Ie QPR and Villa.

Fair dinkum..... When Manic Mel sold the stadium to himself he over valued it to ensure the clubs finances came within the efl guidelines. I guess it took the suits a while to work that out. Hence Derby broke the sustainability rules which have landed them in ****e street.Amended for you, Duffers
