Cor.... There are some AMBITIOUS numbers thrown around in that first postPotential fire sale/January line up

On our current form they’ll catch us by mid October!!If Reading get a 9 points deduction, they’ll still only be four points below us. If Derby get 12, they’ll be 7 points below us. It’s not impossible for them to catch up to us at least by Christmas given our current form.

The Reading one is interesting, for us in particular, given their current owners and their failed attempt at taking control of us, i can't stand the Allams and want them out, but does go to show that the grass isn't always greener, and that a stupid owner who doesn't spend silly money can be better than a stupid owner who does spend silly money.
I have to admit to agreeing to this, Pier. I ****ing despise the Allams, but, well it's a dilemma isn't it. We don't have a crystal ball.

To an extent yes, but come the start of next season, if we're both in the same division (bigger if on our part than theirs!) they'll still have a chunk of players on 20k+ a week, a much bigger wage bill than us and more debt, long term, i'd rather have our finances than theirs.....with Jeff Bezos as our new ownerI guess that really depends where we both finish right?
If Reading get points deducted but stay up (after spending silly money) you could argue they were in a better position than us if we are relegated (after spending very little) or vice versa of course.
Still think they’ll finish comfortably above usfootball is fecked...
A bit like RL....though I can't imagine many championship players going part-time, unlike RL which has been punching above its weight for years.
Derby now rock bottom on -2 on BBC Championship table....Happy days
Should of employed Steve BruceHell of a stat - Blackburn, QPR, Bolton and now Derby have thrown away a combined £750 million pursuing promotion.
