I've been feeling depressed for the last couple of days , I don't know why neither, it just came of nowhere, I'm feeling down today as well.
Part of the problem is the doctor shills just wanna prescribe pills for it so they get a kick-back, the other part, ad for me, the main problem is people are constantly being bombarded with advertising which subliminally tells them they aren't good enough, forcing them to compare themselves to the make-believe versions of people they're seeing in the magazines and on TV. Girls get it far worse than boys in that regard, because of fashion magazines where some of the most beautiful women in the world are photographed by the best cameramen in the world after hours of make-up and then edited by top notch graphical artists to an even more unattainable vision of beauty and told 'this is what you must look like to be considered worthwhile'. They don't have a ****ing chance, their informed choice is to feel so **** about themselves that the cure, they are told, is 'retail therapy'.Piers Morgan makes a fair point IMHO .
I hate him , and have close knowledge of clinical depression .

So what do you normally do to lift your mood? I find fresh air and exercise always helps.

@Matth_2014 agree with the above. Maybe not so much the drugs but whatever does it for you.
Gyms are dirt cheap these days even if you’re pretty skint. Failing that, walking/running is free. It’s the best thing for you regardless of anything else going on.
Plus you’ve got people here who have been through similar and won’t take the piss (as much as usual).
