Agreed, if he's got the quality that everyone says he has he'll be fine. Doyle went straight in didn't he? I can see what Johnson is saying but on the flip side continuing to play Neil at LB is a pretty big risk too, yeah he's done well and is a good player but I suspect there's only so long he can do it for before it's exploited and mistakes happen.

O'Nien was rock solid at CB at first but there was a shelf life to that.
Seems it fell off the shelf when the pairing was upset in that instance though! Bailey Wright being brought back solved nothing and caused problems. Still think we’d be championship now if Sanderson had been fit all season.

As for Cirkin. The lad is 19. Pep refused to play Foden as much as the fans and press were demanding as he knew better. I’ll back Johnson in this

I agree with that mate, we don't need panic measures after one game.

Johnson wants to win the game ...

... if he thinks Cirkin is ready, and so does the player, he'll play him.

Doyle's only 17 and he's been great, the recruitment team has been hitting home runs so I've got faith in them to sign someone good enough to bed in straight away.

I'll back Johnson too, he's said himself he hasn't decided yet.

I jusy hope that if Cirkin hits a wayward pass the usual suspects don't jump straight on his back

I doubt that will happen mate.

I think there's a change running through the club now and people can see that Johnson has a plan.

Most of us aren't daft enough to rock a boat that's looking increasingly seaworthy ....

... anyone who is can walk the plank.

Whilst i agree regarding the changes you just need to look ower the road to see the constant negativity/need to slag the club that some people have.

Fairly certain the away support will support but home could be a different matter sadly

I can't help looking, it's like a multiple pile up that you can't help but be fascinated by.

There's one lad, Vauxie, who just makes ridiculous untrue claims and lashes out at anyone who laughs at him.

He flips from being 'Sunderland's best ever supporter' to slagging off everything to do with the club including all the other supporters.

To me he’s like a 10 year old hanging onto the arse of the mad one, I’ve never seen anyone who arselicks a person as much as he does

No it didn't, it was exactly a week.

Johnson was announced, as manager, on the 5th of December.

Sanderson was on the bench for Johnson's first proper league match in charge, at Lincoln, on the 12th of December.

He made his debut in the second half.

He started in the first team, at home to Wimbledon, on the 15th of December.

Unless months on your planet are only 10 days long what you've claimed is absolute nonsense.
The myth Johnson took ages to play Sanderson has been repeated on here time and time again. I have lost count of the times I have corrected it.

Sanderson joined 13/10 2020 his first game 28/10 2020 against Rochdale then 5 games before he got another chance under Parkinson is when i shouted for him and wanted him to play. Parkinson felt the summer arrival needed longer to acclimatise Parkinson was a dick and im glad he is gone

That’s what I was referring to with smug. I never mentioned any managers names, so not sure what he’s getting his knickers in a twist about.

My brother has spent the last 20 years pretending to be a Mag supporter and posting things mainly on the Chronicle about how he loves the club, but isn't it a shame that..." pick one from "our players are rubbish", "our stadium is an eyesore", "we're not as good as Sunderland" etc and repeat. I reckon we've got Mags on here doing the same.

No you were not.
You were talking about Johnson.
Your post was quoting a conversation Palm 1 and Tees.
You were agreeing about the manager Johnson

Show me where I mentioned Johnson’s name? All I said is it took a while to play him, referring to the club in general. If I was talking about Johnson I would have physically said that.

You're lying again.

You replied to the other Mag's post who was talking about Johnson as was everyone else.

@Teessidemackem said;
He's too cautious at times Johnson. He needs to get him straight in. The kid will be raring to go."

@Palm1 replied to Tees;
"How long did he take to play Sanderson and that was just due to injury."

Your quote in response Palm1 was;
"Took months to play Sanderson. Me and @@Makemstine Roger were calling for it for a while. Could see the potential a mile off."

Only one person, Roger, mentioned Parkinson and that was after you posted.

Roger actually proved you wrong, even if it was Parkinson, as it obviously didn't take him months to play Sanderson, more like a fortnight. (
Why you're dragging Roger into your posts is anyone's guess and his business.)

All of the above proves you're lying yet again and having another pop at Johnson because you don't like him.

Besides all that, it wasn't just you and Roger who were calling for Sanderson, everyone could see the potential.

I'm not 100% sure yet, whether you're a Mag or not, but I wouldn't bet against it.

Looks that way mate, absolutely pathetic.
