If Dennis Tueart is one of us, he's kept it a well hidden secret all this time.

He joined your lot at 19 years old and gave you 7 years loyal service, much more than you get from tosspots these days.
Of course he has loyalty to Man City, having played for them in two spells as well as being a Club Director over a 30 year period.

He should be remembered as a hero of your 73' glory not kicked at because he's from the Toon.

I find myself in total agreement with this.

how many times has he won it in two years more to the point

How many premier league players have even won it once? Sounds like anything short of Messi is just unacceptable to you Stu. You're either dreaming or on a completely different planet. You want him to be a 60, 70 million pound player, stop deluding yourself, we can't afford the standard you demand.

once again your words not mine,a nasty habit you have there .
In reality he has not come up trumps for us until recently has he , lets put in another context, how many tiimes in two years has he got mon for us ?.
Everybody including myself must be happy with the transformation under gus,he has a cup final to show the england manager he warrants consideration even at this late stage , i doubt it but you never know.

Well why didn't you just say that instead of holding the amount of times he's won player of the month against him, a completely ridiculous statement. which you did say, in fact you made it the definitive point in your argument<doh>. Nasty habit you've got there, one day you might make a statement you can stand by.

I dont, he was probably one of the poorest performers in the 73 cup run despite being one of our better players at the time, I attended every game that season and the next and remember to this day how he let the supporters club and himself down, he even ended his career trying to beat us on his own at Roker Park. No this guy does not have any regard for Sunderland or its supporters and never misses a chance to prove it.

im surprised you have not mentioned this before ,its not a definitive point at all ,you seem hell bent on an argument about the choice of words again ,take things easy boy.
heres a statement i will stand by ,i will ignore your posts from now on ,the same as i told another poster on here i suggest you do the same to mine it will save the war of words .
If it makes you feel good you are quite correct in what you say ,i dont know what i was thinking making such a silly statement .
(ps) might see you in person at a game in the future, if they ever play in your living room. goodbye

I seem to remember that at the time there was a wage cap Imposed by the Labour Government at the time and the only way to increase you're wages was to leave your job and go and work for someone else who could pay you whatever they thought you were worth.

My response was to this riduculus comment.

I see no war of words here, I just think it's a stupid unthoughtful comment on your part in what was another attempt to attack a player you've targeted since his transfer, I'm reserving my right of opinion to question a comment I find completely unrealistic . You're ignoring me because you've got nothing. Don't call me boy, you're the one with the juvenile uneducated statements. I've seen 6 home games this season which is very good considering I've had to eat processed ****e and sit in the freezing cold in order to afford those games. Attacking fans who make the effort when they can't afford to is never going to win you popularity points and if anything makes you as much a dickhead as Baz, go on, have another pop shot over my support. Endear your to the masses <doh>

Can anyone tell me how many Sunderland players have won player of the month twice in the last two years? Just to prove Stu's point of how inadequate AJ is?

HA HA HA tell it to somebody who gives a ****.

well get a job ,or you could stop smoking drugs then you could eat proper food, stay warm and go to more games, and you pity me, ha ha ha
