Demba Ba unhappy with role

Don't understand why Pardew would advertise the fact that the clause is still there, we've got nothing to gain from releasing that information unless the club are actually looking to sell Demba in the next window.
 
Agent has probably started telling people, so Pardew has to announce it now.

This all sounds like the agent causing trouble. Probably wants a transfer so he can get a payoff.
 
I think that the situaton is:

Ba is basically happy here but would like to be playing central striker more often. His agent would like to get a fee. Pardew is trying to keep Ba happy while making it clear that Ba will play where and when Pardew says, and is trying to do damage limitation with the media.

This is nothing that 3 points and 2 more goals against Norwich won't cure

Ba said he wasn't happy but didn't say what, he could have meant the team performance for all we know. If he has a problem with how we are playing he should be speaking to Pards and his agent shouldn't be spouting this kind of crap off.

He is here until January and even then IF anyone comes in for him will need to pay top whack for him now his release clause has gone, who would be that stupid.

End of the day he was on the Bench for 1 game and we have Europa on Thursday, so has he rested him for that match??? would make sense.

Also if Ba is unhappy with playing on the left why did he make an effort to go away and watch vids of his games to find ways to improve??

According to Pardew his release clause has not gone !!!!!!
 
Demba Ba is a great player and obviously committed but his entourage is rotten and would unsettle the team just to get his next windfall and Ba seems to be doing nothing to control his entourage which I think is unprofessional.

I am sure that Lambias will see this and Pardew will agree that although Demba would be a great loss to any team, the baggage just doesn't justify his staying unless he sorts it out.

even Demba's brother is questioning the manager on Twitter for god's sake. It can not be happening, get a grip or get a transfer.

Demba seems a very quiet and generally accomodating person. That makes him great to have as a member of the squad but I can see that it might make it easier for his agent etc to speak for him, put words in his mouth, etc.

To be fair, this is the first time it has happened publicly. I am sure that Pardew has told Ba it needs to be the last.

So long as Ba tells his agent and brother to keep their mouths shut it's a tempest in a tea cup.

Ba needs to get rid of his agent, if he wants to stay he should tell the greedy c*** to ***k off.

We can't have another Willie McKay disrupting things.
 
They'll all have to accept the bench at some stage this season. Cisse may get a taste on Sunday. Agents will make their comments but they carry little weight. Storm in a teacup as usual, he is unhappy at being on the bench. I'd be more upset if he wasn't.
